Pregnancy

Oh god here we are!

I've now officially hit the stage of pregnancy where I'm up multiple times a night to pee and/or take gaviscon for my heartburn which gets so bad I feel sick.
I also wake up feeling like I've not had a drink for 100years and have just walked through the Sahara.
I'm tired 99.9% of the time and could randomly nap in strange places.
Also I cannot get comfy no matter what I do and the little monster one inside of me is kicking the bejesus out of my belly/ribs to the point it feels bruised. To top it off I'm incapable of standing up from a sitting position without grunting like I'm weightlifting and I have a spiderweb of stretch marks not only on my belly but also legs and thighs.
And thanks to the half painful pressure I feel on and around my pelvis when I'm stood up I'm officially doing "the waddle" when I walk.

Anyone else care to join the pregnancy symptom moan?

PS. Lighthearted.

Oh lord! OP how many weeks are you?

I sympathise with the peeing and heartburn! I often have to get up in the night to take a renee rapiz, i'm popping them like crazy. I'm 29 weeks.

My bump hurts a lot because I think I naturally walk fast and give myself a stitch! ouch.

Oh no op! I'll be joining you soon I think.

I've just hit 26 weeks, my back is killing me and I just feel very... pregnant. I didn't feel this way, this early, with dc1, (unless I've forgotten - probably have)!

@BernardBlacksHangover I don't recall being this bad with DC1 either but like you've said I probably forgot!

This morning me and DH managed to have a rare cuddle before we had to get out of bed and he said "why are we so tired recently" (background: we've been oversleeping and generally dead in the mornings last couple of weeks) I looked at him like Hmm "We? well I know why I'm tired but why are you?"

If he was 35wks pregnant he would probably stay in bed for the next 5 weeks and acting like the world was ending.

Had a midwife appt today, the baby is so wriggly she gasped when she felt the bump and asked "what is this little one doing?"
I get kicks in my right side so hard I almost feel it in my back, the whole bump moves, goes hard and I'm sometimes lucky enough to get a lovely drag of feet along my ribs (like a mug being dragged across prison bars for lack of better examples).
When she had a feel she had to get another nurse to have a feel as its in such a weird position she thought it was transverse, turned out its just an awkward curled up ball of fury kicking out at everyone and everything.

Oh and also I might apparently have an oncoming kidney infection..... Sad

Soooo glad I'm not the only one.

29 weeks here. All of the above applies to me. This little one had better be worth it!
