Hi! I was thinking of slimming world. After I raised the issue of my weight with the midwife she recommended slimming world. I have a BMI of 41.6 so could use it

Hello! Can I join? I am 6 weeks and started slimming world back in June as a way to get focused on something whilst I underwent recurrent miscarriage testing. Currently 2.5 stone lighter than when I started and a healthy bmi for the first time in a long time!

Do either of you know how the healthy extras change in pregnancy? I don't want to tell my consultant the news until I'm further along. Thanks!

Thanks Bisset! I finally have a definite answer! I've lost every single week for 14 weeks and I think if I start maintaining or putting weight on my consultant might twig! I was too scared to go to weigh in tonight! Have you lost much since joining Bisset? I know once sickness kicks in I'm going to struggle to eat anything on plan.

Ive struggled since 8 weeks because bread stems my sickness. I havent been for a month now.

I just don't have energy to get to group after work and I always went to weigh in and then ate dinner. I physically cannot do that at the moment, I would puke. My dinners are normally a potatoe or pasta at the moment which althiugh I am managing to keep syn free are heavy on the scales I just cannot face them right now.

I know they seem like really lame excuses but right now getting through work, not puking and trying to be conscious of what I eat is more than enough right now.

@ beyond I lost nearly a stone, got weighed tonight and gained half a pound haha but I've been meeting more free meals as the stodge seems to be calling me now haha

@loose don't worry about it hun, if that's what your body needs to help you stem the sickness then go for it!! As long as you're on plan the best you can be, we can give advice as mush as possible in here the best we can, support each other xxx

I joined SlimmingWorld last week and then found out I was pregnant this week (thought it was going to take longer!) I am hoping to keep at it though, I don't want to gain too much weight.
