Measuring small at 28 weeks

Despite being told I am enormous by seemingly everyone I meet, the midwife measured me today and I'm measuring below the 10th centile. I've got a growth scan booked to check everything is OK but can't help feeling anxious. I know that it is not an exact science but an acquaintance recently had a baby at 29 weeks due to poor growth so I know it can happen Sad. Has anyone else measured small at this stage? I am 28 weeks

I just posted on another similar thread op but I've had similar happen to me.

Have been measuring "small" all along and been sent for two growth scans - the most recent showed that I am carrying an 8lb baby!

Try not to worry too much and I hope it all goes well.

I had a growth scan today because the fundal height was below the 10th centile, baby is actually measuring over the 50th with a head circumference over the 90th Shock Lying sideways on the scan which might explain the reduced fundal height.

Aaah that's a relief lady! Pretty sure my bubba is lying sideways too, so hopefully it's just that

I received a growth scan while pregnant the first time around with my DS as midwife was concerned I was measuring small - everything turned out fine.

I'm currently 39weeks pregnant with my 2nd & went through a period of measuring small again this pregnancy however seemed to catch up over a few weeks.

Try not to worry Smile
