So dp soundo, as norm I'm wide awake. But unusually relaxed. Laid there on back felt a weird feeling so put hand on belly. With slight pressure and almost positive I felt a small kick.. Then a min later a couple in a row. Followed by a couple more.
I'm 18.4weeks second baby. So guess that is normal. I Google and said it is. :)

Made my birthday, best present ever

Just gutted dp asleep.. As he sways feeling and I said ah it'll be weeks away yet, he's gonna be disappointed he missed it.. But that'll teach him for falling asleep so easy hahaha whilst I lay here wide awake. Xx

My DG had to wait 3 weeks before he could feel the outside movements because while I could feel them, the baby refused to kick whenever he put his hands on me. He still does it now but the trick is the get him to be the same temperature as me... I think the baby can sense it's not me 😂
And happy birthday Cake

How nice OP!... it can take a few weeks longer for partners to feel from outside as they can't match up to what you feel from the inside if that makes sense 🙂

My DS mucked DH about for weeks with string kicks except when he put his hand on my tummy 😂

Happy birthday OP. Flowers

We were on holiday (DP, my parents, sister and her partner) and my DP had to go to his parents house for a few days in the middle. It was during this few days that my DD decided to let me feel her presence. Had to contain my excitement until DP was back because I wanted him to be the one to feel her kicking first (after me of course).

Ohhhhh, how lovely! :) It's going to get amazing and, frankly, weird from here! I remember used to set little small things like tv remote or a slipper on DS1 bump and watch him kick them off! Of course it wasnt anything like high flying action kicking things across the room, but he would definitely push things off! So funny! :)
