Has pregnacare (max) given anyone an upset tummy?

Hi everyone, this is my first pregnancy, I've been taking pregnacare max for about 10 days now and I've had a v upset tummy for the last 7 days. I'm not sure if it's the pregnacare or the pregnancy. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks!

I have seen other posts saying the same.

Pregnacare made me feel really sick, I switched to seven seas which were also much cheaper.

It also made me feel really sick in early preg. I changed to a Boots own brand for a while and went back to pregnacare around 18 weeks, been fine on it since then.

Pregnacare made me very sick during pregnancy. My friend gave me a pack to try because they made her sick too. Took them for one day and was very unwell for a couple of days afterwards and I dumped them straight in the bin.

Me too! I switched to basic folic acid and vitamin d and felt better.
Congratulations on the pregnancy!

Pregnacare made me really sick and nauseous last time. I had bought boxes of the stuff too! I'm taking a basic Holland & Barrett folic acid with vitamin D plus I take 2 sachets of spatone iron water. Midwife gave me the healthy start vitamins at booking appt so I'll switch to them when my own run out.

I used pregnacare max until I was 20 weeks and pregnacare plus since (I’m 25 weeks today)

I felt very queasy up to 16 weeks but never vomited
Don’t think it was related to pregnacare TBH

I was nauseous till 17th week. I hope it's not because of pregnacare!Hmm I take plus ones from the start of pregnancy, 37 weeks now

Pregnacare didn't make me feel too great I took it for ages and then when I stopped I felt better. It works for some but not me. Stop taking it for a bit and see if it helps
I'm anemic now so just take some iron that the doctor perscribed instead of anything else

I've been fine with it but I do make sure I take it with my main meal, as directed, whereas my friend wasn't taking hers with her meal and it did make her feel sick.

Oh, this is interesting! I've had no sickness at all and only started taking pregnacare after my 12 week scan and I've started throwing up since

Yes! I was ok if I took them at bedtime.

Yes, iffy tummy and they made me sick, I changed to sanatogen Mum to be for the rest of the pregnancy and had no issues with them.

Yep. I wasn’t sick but pregnacare really upset my stomach. Think it’s the iron in it cos that does the same thing. Switched to bog standard folic acid/vitamin d instead & was fine.

Same as Sandysmam, I ended up just buying supermarket own brand vit D and folic acid; these are honestly the only things you need additional resources of OP- and theyre not extortionately priced and shouldn't give you nausea or an upset stomach; bonus!!

Companies like Pregnacare will make you feel like you need all the additional vits/ minerals they bung in but all research to date backs that all you need are folic acid pre+ post conception and then vitamin D once you've conceived.

Oh god I bought the liquid one too. I have had such an upset stomach for a few days now, stopped taking a couple of days ago so hope it's that but I feel rough as a dog!

I took Pregnacare Conception once removing my implant, and moved straight onto Pregnacare Max after becoming pregnant.
I have been fine on both of these, and they seem to be the brand that everyone recommends.

The lady at Holland and Barrett did advise me to take them with orange juice, and always take them just after dinner (or whichever is your biggest meal)
Not sure if either of those suggestions could help at all?

I have to say I was fine with for my first but I hadnt got the max.
for this pregnancy a friend gave me her max ones and I found they made me feel sick. So haven't taken any since about three months.

Made me vomit, as did seven seas. I just took folic acid supplements in the end. Didn't seem much point in taking it, just to puke it back up.

Doesn't make me sick if i take it a bedtime but my god it makes me fart like a cart horse!
