Help needed for Infant Observation

Hello,
My name is Clare, and I am currently a member of an accredited infant observation course in the West Midlands. I'm currently looking to hear from families based in the West Midlands who would be interested in taking part or learning more about the observation.

The aim of the observation is to learn about very early ordinary emotional development, along with the bonds that develop between the infant and its caregivers. I’m interested in observing how the baby interacts with the world around them and how they begin to learn about themselves and others.

I come in, not as an expert or an advisor, but somebody who is deeply interested in the study of infants in their natural environment.
The observations would take place weekly, where possible, at a time and day convenient for you and your family. The observations would last two years in duration (in the second year the frequency can be reduced to fortnightly as to fit in with the family)

The observations takes place inside the family home and should not impinge on your family’s normal routine. The observation starts from birth, or up to 4 weeks after the birth of the child.

As part of being accepted into this training I have the support of two referees and a Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check.
If you are interested, curious but uncertain or would like to know more then please contact me and we can talk it through.

Many thanks and best wishes,
Clare
