36 +3 and need a whinge!

Ladies. I'm just so fed up. This is baby number 2 for me and the pregnancy has been rough from start to finish. I was off work with SPD from 21 weeks.

Now I'm enormous, uncomfortable, and exhausted. For the past week I've barely slept. I get up 4-6 times to wee, and if that's not waking me up then the heartburn is. My 6 yr old wakes up around 7am so it's not like I can lie in. And now I've got a stinking cold too!

I just want her to finish cooking and make a safe arrival so I can get back to myself again. :(

Just adding my sympathies! I'm 36 weeks too and had written a very long and self pitying reply just now about how sorry I feel for myself but my fat fingers somehow managed to delete it before I had a chance to post!!!!

Can't being myself to type it all out again but wanted to say you're not alone!!!

Another one joining in with sympathy. 38+6 now and absolutely done with this. Tried / trying all the old wives tales but nothing doing, looks like he's in for the long haul! I've suffered the last week with terrible insomnia, but managed to get some sleep last night then was joined in bed this morning by my sniffly, snotty 4 year old. Lazy day for us today I think!

Thanks so much for the kind words. It really helps. I hope you all feel better ASAP. I, for one, plan to eat an entire pineapple for breakfast the morning I hit 37 weeks...

nursemama I bought one of the huge pineapples from Costco and ate it all. No baby yet but I've never been so regular!
