I've avoided it all through pregnancy lol but I weighed myself today. I was 75kg at my booking appointment and now at 31 weeks I'm 79.8kg.

I've read somewhere, there's so much to read, that I'll gain about half a pound a day until the end of the pregnancy. Is that right? I feel like I'm going to end up real heavy 😂 I was happy with my weight gain until I read the 0.5 pound per day on top of what I've gained lol.

Stop weighing yourself! It's different for every woman. I ended pregnancy lighter than I started thanks to excessive vomiting and nausea.

You won't gain half a pound a day! That's over 2st per month, most people gain 2-3st through the whole pregnancy.

30 weeks onwards is wherein our on most of my weight. I was 65kg to start and now 77kg at 39 weeks. I've been monitoring weight all the way through, not every day, but as and when I remember I weigh myself.

I started out at 63kg and the morning I went in to have DD I weighed 97kg!

I was HUGE and it was pretty much all water - I had no ankles, no knees etc the oedema was so bad.

I'd had really severe hyperemesis and hadn't put anything on at all at 30 weeks. Finally stopped being sick at 32 weeks and could actually eat reasonable amounts but even I couldn't have managed to put on 34kg via food in 7 weeks. Hospital weren't worried at all.

By the time DD was 8 weeks old, I was 60kg.
