Leaving my job

I've recently been offered a new job as an apprentice and handed in my 4 week notice for my current job 3 weeks ago. The job is physically demanding and makes me very ill but I tried to slug it out until next Friday. I found out yesterday that I am pregnant but I don't know how far gone and my job has become more and more stressful. Today I broke down because my machine wouldn't run and was sent home with sickness, making my employers aware of the pregnancy. My mum has just suggested terminating my employment now as it's doing me no favours and all I'd miss out on is a weeks pay.

Is it worth leaving or should I slug out for another week?

If it was me I'd just leave now. Have a little rest and get your head together before your new job starts.
