I honestly can't remember a night where I was asleep before 11pm. Restless legs, heartburn, insomnia, terrible nightmares, sweating, dribbling, being sick in the night.
Oh god, it's so HARD. The days are fine but the nights are absolute hell on earth. Can't believe I have another 3 more weeks of this Sad anyone else in the same boat?

Yep 39 weeks here and I dread nights. If I do fall asleep I wake up within the hour and then again every hour. I only manage to sleep between 4am-7am. I just can't get comfy or drift off. Every night I hope is the night my waters will break or contractions start , it does make me feel sick that I could have two 1/2 weeks of this!

travis45 · 25/08/2017 05:15

I'm the same, only 34 weeks 😰😰.

I dread bed time, normally sick before bed then spend hours trying to get comfy, nod off to be woken with major heartburn then wide away 3-6am. Add in about 20 pee trips which takes a good 10 minutes to get out the bed.

Don't think I can handle this for another 6 weeks, ha.

dippypanda · 25/08/2017 08:32

Same here, nearly 37 weeks. Nights are getting painful, the leg cramps, hip pains, and don't get me started on trying to turn over in bed Sadtrying to keep moving during the day to help but have terrible lower back pain this time. Waking up at around 2-3am most nights wide awake.
Sorry not really much help but wanted to offer support as I also feel your pain! Flowers

forfucksakejanet · 25/08/2017 09:35

40+5 here and turning over in bed is now akin to a full time job

In between heartburn, restless legs and incessant wee trips, sleep is not my friend

I have a maximum of 7 days left until I get induced, it would be great if baby could hurry itself along Hmm

Urglewurgle · 25/08/2017 12:14

36+5 and I hear you!

I'm glad I'm not the only dribbler though. It seems I can't get enough air in through my nose anymore and have to breathe through my mouth, DP said I sound like a bloody elephant. Plus I end up with a dry mouth so I need a drink then I need to wee. Plus dry mouth aggravates my sensitive teeth.

I'm trying not to think it might be another 5+ weeks Sad

justkeepswimmingg · 25/08/2017 13:01

Right there with you OP. Also 38 weeks, and fed up now. Cannot get comfortable, constantly tossing and turning, and heartburn meaning I can't lay down even if I wanted to. It also means that I have a sore neck in the morning from being propped up with 100 pillows. There's no way I fall asleep before 1am, and il wake up several times for a wee, so back to square one of falling asleep again. The dribbling and sore legs/hips don't help either. Thankfully toddler lets me have a lay in most mornings, and my consultant is going to break my waters on my due date (if possible).

travis45 · 25/08/2017 13:05

Haha @Urglewurgle this is me too, my husbands resorted to the couch because of my breathing. Nearly there ladies 😊

londonfeather · 25/08/2017 13:19

38+2 here and not having a good day. So much pressure on my public bone... I waddle everyone and it feels like baby is trying to swim out of me!!! I'm a pretty small person and can't comprehend how I could possibly be preggo for around another month.

sophiejayne96 · 25/08/2017 20:49

Definitely feel your pain. 39 weeks and this baby can't come quick enough. 🙈

Llogan2016 · 25/08/2017 22:39

Yep same here, 38 weeks tomorrow. Still up at 2 am some nights and back up at 7. Back and hips really playing up so can't get comfy, then need toilet constantly, got heart burn or waking up hungry!

fluffywallow · 26/08/2017 02:14

Oh yes you are my people! 38+1 and yes I'm up in the middle of the night as sleeping is not happening!

Heartburn, brutal kicking in the ribs, babies head burrowing into my bladder, pelvic pain - the list goes on!

Having a c section at 39+4 so not long to go but it feels like forever. I went 11 days overdue with my DD so know how it feels. Hope everyone is ok this evening Flowers

babysurprise14 · 26/08/2017 08:24

Same here 38 weeks on Monday and had a complete melt down last night 😂 fed up with not sleeping and now even walking around hurts......not organised in the slightest, still have loads to sort and keep panicking,

Hopefully it won't be long ladies and we will have our bundles of joy 👶🏻x

dippypanda · 26/08/2017 08:58

Anyone else had much of a nesting instinct, mine seemed to well and truly kick in yesterday! So much so I've overdone it and struggling to walk this morning Confused but I've cleaned kitchen to within an inch of its life, did 5 loads of washing including the newborn clothes I have and the baby blankets etc. Moved our bedroom round for baby, hospital bags, sorted baby items etc etc...the list goes on!

I've read this can sometimes mean baby is imminent but I wonder if there any truth in this?! Any thoughts?

10storeylovesong · 26/08/2017 11:30

I don't know but I'm only 35 weeks and woke up with the intense need to clean. I've been struggling so much with sickness and anaemia that my house is a mess but I've sent DH out for the day with DS and am now scrubbing the kitchen after already sorting the living room. I've not felt like this for months!

fluffywallow · 26/08/2017 13:43

Oh yes my nesting instinct has been in overdrive for a few weeks now - I've cleaned out cupboards that have not seen the light of day in years!! It's very satisfying.

PoppyH56 · 26/08/2017 17:50

Most of us are 38 plus which means at least baby's will be here in a maximum of 26 days 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 just holding on to that thought!!

My due date is Friday. I'm crossing everything that he appears before then though! Don't fancy another week or so not sleeping. :(

Craicvac · 26/08/2017 18:09

37 weeks here, and have pulled a muscle between my ribs, so any movement in bed involves holding my ribs with one hand to reduce the movement and pain while using the other to try and flip my enormous mass over without hurting myself/ falling out of bed/ squashing my husband. Cried with frustration last night around 5am.... so over it!

dippypanda · 28/08/2017 19:47

How is everyone feeling?

I've had a couple of days with lots of energy but today I've felt exhausted, slept till 9.30am which is unheard of recently and then went for a 2hour nap this afternoon!

Last two days at work tomorrow and Wednesday and can't wait Confused

LRL2017 · 28/08/2017 19:55

I'm 38+2 and I'm exhausted. Fell asleep about 10.30 last night to then be awake from 1.00-3.30 and up at 7. I'm tired and over emotional because of it. All I keep thinking is not much longer!

justkeepswimmingg · 28/08/2017 20:45

I'd like to say that sounds promising dippy, but might be wishful thinking as I've been feeling extremely exhausted too!
We went for a long walk yesterday, and I had some intense BH. Wish I had the energy to go for more walks, in hope of speeding things up, but sadly I'm struggling to leave the house often!
Fingers crossed some of us start going into labour soon!

forfucksakejanet · 28/08/2017 20:46

41+1 nearly over for me and still nothing! Rubbish Angry

Am certain now I'll be induced on Friday

38+3 and I'd probably be sleeping well enough if I wasn't getting up 4-5 times a night to attend to the whims of my 2&4yo... so tired.

fluffywallow · 29/08/2017 03:43

I'm with you Cali, if I'm not getting up to go to the toilet, I'm getting up because my 2yr old needs the toilet Confused double whammy!

38+4 today and 1 week to go until c section. Counting down the days!!!

Hopefully something happens for you soon Janet!

PoppyH56 · 29/08/2017 06:11

No sign of baby yet and I'm getting more and more uncomfortable each day! My pelvis is now at breaking point and I honestly think it would snap if I tried to walk more than 100 metres. 😫 I'm 39 weeks on Thursday and two women in my NCT class both due after me have had their babies in the last two days! Safe to say on the second announcement I cried as I just want my baby here now! Sad
