Travel cot, Moses basket or small crib ?? Ahhh help !

I am 36 weeks pregnant with my second and still can't decide what to go get for downstairs .

I already have the halo bassinet for next to the bed which I absolutely love as it's specifically designed for c sections Mums Smile. And that's staying put next to me.

I need something for downstairs that I can keep downstairs but is also moveable if needs be . 1) I have a very helpful toddler 4 years old and a dog and 2) in case we do any trips over the next year or so I don't want to waste money on buying multiple things for the baby to sleep in.

Hubby says to get a Moses basket as he thinks a travel cot is far too big but I am starting to think that a travel cot may be best as we can use it downstairs for day time
Naps , sturdy and away from the two babies (toddler and dog) can double up for when we travel for the baby to sleep in.

What did others do and get ? I also don't want to spend a fortune so nothing like the chicco next to me crib as lovely as it is I can't justify the £200 price tag . X

Some places sell mini travel cots that are a similar size to cribs, they are not the best looking things in the world but they are useful and not expensive.

With DD I used a Moses basket and the pushchair carrycot downstairs. This time it's twins and I'm planning to get a travel cot with the inbuilt higher level "bassinet" to save my back, and with wheels on two corners as well so can move it around. There are quite a few on Amazon, the Hauck sleep n play is one I can remember the name of, it's 60x120cm so same size as a cot so no new bedding needed and we found our DD fit in a travel cot of this size until she graduated to a bed. There's also a Graco range called "Electra" which are more expensive, they are 75x100cm I think so shorter but possibly a better shape for playpen use?
