What's going on? Chemical pregnancy?

So this has already been a rollercoaster ride! Last week I took a pregnancy test and receive a very faint positive, so faint in fact that I didn't believe it. I took another test closer to my missed period and received a negative result, but when I went back to look a few hours later there was another faint positive. I took a test the next morning, still not believing it,this time digital which read pregnant. I got blood work at 3 weeks 6 days and it came back negative, which my ob thought it would because my PCP prescribed it too early. Today, at 4 weeks 3 days, I started bleeding pretty heavily at times, stopping altogether at others. There are also some clots, but all very similar to my period. Does anyone have any insight? Is this a chemical pregnancy? If I take another at home test on Tuesday and receive a negative do I follow up with m doctor or just move on? Is it possible for a 4 week old fetus to survive the bleeding? I'm so confused, largely becausd I found out so early and this does correlate with my cycle. Any advice is appreciated, I'm 25 and this is my first pregnancy. I was on birth control so this is not planned, but my husband and I were just getting excited!

Yah, I just felt so different and it wasn't like my normal PMS. I wish I had no symptoms at all because this is just depressing :(

Also, I don't know if I made this clear in my post, but the day I took the positive at home pregnancy test was the same day I got blood work. The results just came the next day. Not sure if that makes a difference or not but figured I'd clarify.
