Eeek, so I went for my booking scan today and the midwife said did they check for 2 when you were in early pregnancy I said I'm not sure and she says ok I'm going to book you in for a re-scan in 3 weeks so we can have a better look. 😱 Am I reading too much into it? Has that happened to anyone before? They've had to scan again to double check things? We seen the baby and it's little heartbeat although it really wasn't very clear. He/she is measuring 9+1making due date Feb 😁

I don't know if midwives just say that anyway, wouldn't have thought so. But if there is reason she thinks you may be carrying twins, just wanted to say - possibility even if you have already had a scan.
I had an early scan at around 7 weeks and at first were like congratulations healthy baby, then she seemed confused and if it hadn't been for second opinion to say to do internal, wouldn't have seen the twin! At another early 9 week scan, a different lady was like congratulations, healthy baby! I was like wheres the other one? And had I not asked she wouldn't have looked! SO possibility they can be missed quite easily it seems! lol, interesting to see why your midwife would want that checked! Maybe you hcg levels are rather high? I don't know haha x

Yep I had an early scan at 7 weeks although she never mentioned anything about two she just showed us the wee heartbeat. Then referred for booking scan which was today I had bloods done today just but that was actually after the scan. The 7 week one and today were both belly scans! It's gonna be a lonnng 3 week wait lol! The next scan is on my birthday so what a birthday present that would be eh 😁

Haha, well, if its twins, I know its something you always joke about but never imagine happening... but I would be devastated to not have two anymore! At 7 and 9 weeks they couldn't get scan pictures/heart beats clear enough so had to go in lol, so could just be possible! Do you have any idea at all why your midwife suggested them checking? Could you ask her? She may just be the over cautious type but there may be a reason

She said so she could have a better look and said to my partner it could be two for the price of one 😂🤣 oh gawddd lol! How far on are you now? I'm huge already defo showing already but 3rd pregnancy so I would be showing earlier anyway x

Fair enough?! Who knows! I am 15+4... first pregnancy but quite an obvious bump already and small framed, have had it for a fair few weeks! Will have to keep me posted !

I will for sure! Kinda thinking of talking nicely to daddy to be ( this is his first ) for a private scan hehe! Thank you x
