I was just wondering with your first pregnancy how long before or after edd did your little bubbas come? And how long was your labour.

41+ 6, spontaneous labour having rejected induction. Phew!

Oh sorry missed labours

1st - not sure but head was visable when arrived to hospital
2nd - 15 mins
3rd - 12 mins
4th- 15 mins approx

Apparently I have something called precipitous labours, I dilate pain free and pains don't kick in until last minute where I just go from 5cm to having baby in minutes

5 days before, 21 hours of labour.

39+4
My labour from the first twinge was 36 hours but I slept through most of that and only really in the final six hours did I have to focus (the mw examined me at that point and I was 7cm)

Went into labour 40+2 however nothing was happening, I wasn't dilating and my waters never went naturally. They ended up breaking my waters 5 days later but I still didn't dilate properly despite contracting regularly since 40+2 and baby was getting too tired. Had an EMCS and DS was born bang on 41 weeks :)

38+2. Spontaneously!

41 weeks, waters broke at 2am, was in active labour from 10am, DD born at 12.37.

So 10 hours 37 mins in total, 2 hours 37 mins "technically"

Fuck knows what I was in before if "active labour" only started at 10 Hmm

Induced 38+2 38hours from pessary to baby, 11 from waters being broken, 5 from drip starting

4 days late and 7 hours, although I didn't know when I was 4cm, apparently I "silent labour" which is fine by me as I'm one day late now with this one, another "silent labour" would be great Grin

Born at 38 weeks. Labour was 31hrs.

I think it's all pot luck. Most babies arrive between 37 and 42 weeks and the average first time labour is 12hrs.

Gave birth seven days before due date. Labour was about an hour. This was considered a long labour in my family where most babies have popped out at home, in hospital car parks and once at the bottom of the hospital steps! That maternity unit has long since closed - I mean, what idiot thought it would be a good idea to have steps leading up to a maternity unit? Have we not got enough to contend with?!

Seems like most people go over with their first. It would be nice to have a silent labour haha :) I'm so ready to see my little baby, obviously not this early but the thought of going a week or so over sounds exhausting

DD: 42w

After a 100 hour failed induction I ended up with a CS.

You'd have thought I was going to Ibiza instead of theatre the way I was so pumped I'd meet baby AT LAST.

Went into labour 40+1, delivered 40+2.

11 days early!

First twinge at 5am, went to hospital at 7 and baby born at 11.45am. It all happened too fast for me to have any drugs apart from gas and air. Ouch! Active labour was only 12 minutes - think I was just so keen for it to be over!
