Induction question

I'm due to be induced on Tuesday but I had a sweep on Friday where she told me I was already 3-4cm dilated with bulging membranes. I'm due to have another sweep tomorrow and will ask them then as well but
My question is when I go on Tuesday to be induced will they still do the tampon style pessary thing or would they just break my waters coz I've heard breaking the waters can bring on labour?

Thanks

When I was induced I was already dilated enough for them to break my waters (I also had 2 sweeps). Saved a lot of time as the contractions started right away. They hooked me up to the drip thing right away though.

If you last until Tuesday they'll just break your waters. I had the same Friday, had a sweep and DD was born yesterday. Due to be induced Wednesday.

In fact when I had my sweep the midwife told me I'd get my waters broken so I knew before I went to the hospital I wouldn't be getting the pessary.

If they can break your waters, they most likely will just do that.

Mind you, I was told at a sweep that I was 3cm and they would easily be able to break my waters, when I went in for induction 4 days later my cervix had somehow regressed back to 1cm so I had to have the pessary!

When the midwife done the sweep Friday she made it sound like I should keep my weekend free but still waiting (and analysing every twinge!)! Hoping I haven't regressed back and if I'm still waiting Tuesday It goes quickly and they can just break my waters x
