Nearly 20 weeks and don't feel pregnant

I'm 20 weeks tomorrow and ive got my scan on Wednesday afternoon. I heard baby's heartbeat at my 16 weeks mw appointment but this last week I've become increasingly anxious that things aren't progressing as they should. I have nothing to base this feeling on only that I feel my stomach is getting flatter and I'm able to pull my stomach in more than usual. Should I be worried or is it normal to all of sudden feel this anxious before the scan (I've been quite chilled from my 12 week scan and onwards)?

I was exactly the same, first baby so I panicked too, convinced myself that there was nothing there especially as I hadnt felt baby kicking. 20week scan was fine and found out that I have an anterior placenta. Enjoy feeling normal, 28weeks now and feel rubbish again and baby kicks constantly.
Congrstulations, all the best for your scan Grin

Wait for 24 weeks and then BOOM! The real growing starts and the bump and weight of baby and tightness of your skin will leave you in no doubt of a growing baby. I had no bump till 24wks on my first then it suddenly exploded.

I was just the same, I had no bump or symptoms and wasn't sure I'd felt any movement and worked myself into a right state convincing myself that something had gone wrong, so that I ended up paying for a reassurance scan the week before my 20 week scan which I went to almost in tears fully expecting the worst! Needless to say baby popped up on the screen straight away measuring exactly the right size yawning and kicking away! Best thing I'd ever seen! Please try not to worry, and all the best for your scan - let us know how you get on!! Smile

*should add that I still don't have much of a bump now at 23+3! But have started to feel baby move more and more since that scan so that's reassuring at least! Enjoy fitting into your regular clothes while you can!

Thank you for your comments everyone, it's reassuring to hear that it's quite normal to work yourself up before a scan... I'm trying to stay positive, only 2 more days to goSmile

Scan went well, thank goodness! It's a boy (I thought I was having a girl). He only wanted to show us his back so I had to change position several time and at one point was asked to lift my bum and wiggle from side to sideGrin He ignored us so we were asked to go and sit in the waiting area again for a bit and then he finally gave in. I'm so relieved it went well. Thanks for all your support!
