Hi I'm around 5-6 weeks pregnant went toilet last night wiped and had very light pink discharge woke up this morning went to toilet and wiped and there was blood? No pains cramps or anything? Maybe it's because I had my implant out 9 weeks ago could it be that I had a period due? Due to have my booking in appointment next week?

I would call your doctors/midwife team this morning and get them to arrange for you to go to your early pregnancy unit for a early scan to make sure. It's very common to bleed at different stages of pregnancy but just go check to makes sure

Hopefully just some spotting which is fairly common (I had it with DC1 and was very distressed by it, but it didn't last long). They can't always tell if there is a heartbeat this early as usually it starts beating around 6 weeks so a scan might not tell the doctors anything at this stage. Wishing you all the best!

I'm 10 weeks now and started spotting at 7 weeks. Lasted a week, some daus almost as heavy as light period. Went to EPU and had scan and they advised implantation bleeding. Hope your scan goes well.
