6w4d and I am feeling miserable. Miserable at how I feel, tired, nauseous, depressed, worried, scared, having to self inject every day. I keep imagining all sorts of scenarios that end up in me not being here. 😓
I am grateful that a) I'm pregnant and b) that there is nothing actually wrong with me, thinking about all the sick people out there. I suffer greatly with anxiety at the best of times and I just feel in a bad place right now. I'm thinking of all the dramas that could happen instead of perhaps all the good things. Does anyone else feel the same or has anyone any advice other than a kick up the behind? 😓😓

What are you self injecting?
I suffer with anxiety, have done for years. It's really really ramped up since I got pregnant. I'm terrified of catching toxoplasmosis so have been washing all door knobs / surfaces / hands multiple times of the day. My husband is worried about me so I'm getting in contact with a therapist, who specialises in OCD / health anxieties.

I had dvt 15 years ago and am on Clexane injections to prevent another one. I suffer greatly with health anxiety also and my problem I have now is what if there is a blood clot there already. I'm imagining all sorts of feelings in my legs, tingling, shaking, burning, I'm check my blood pressure. It's driving me nuts. Once that settles, I then start to think about what if something happens time during the pregnancy or birth. Something bad. I'm stuck in a vicious circle.

I found the anxiety in the first trimester tough, especially as I wasn't open about my pregnancy outside of DH and my parents. I kept telling myself that whilst the miscarriage rate was relatively high, the odds were still in my favour. The tiredness and nausea are horrible too, so take care of yourself and rest as much as you can. It got better for me around 14 weeks.
