Groin pain and pressure on left side - 31wks

Hey,

Just hoping for some advice on whether the pain and pressure in having is normal or whether is worth a call to my widwife.

Yesterday I spent most of the day on my feet whether that was walking or standing on trains and tubes. I started to feel a lot of pressure on my pelvis and by the walk home I was in excruciating pain on the left side of my groin. I had to get my grandparents to pick me up.

Luckily I've a supportive partner and he helped me navigate the house as I found I couldn't put my pressure on my left leg or move it much at all without a lot of pain.

This morning I woke up with the pin gone and the pressure not as bad and so I happily went off to work thinking it was just a bit of rest I needed.

But now I'm experiencing the pain again. It's not as bad as what it was last night but it feels like it's getting worse as the day goes on.

Is it just where baby has moved down into my pelvis? I did have a scan this morning (just a standard growth scan, all normal) and the sonographer did mention that baby is really low and that I must be feeling him hitting me down there now...

Is there anything I can do myself to help relieve the pain and pressure a bit or do I just need to accept this is part of later pregnancy?

Thank you x
