I'm 33 weeks on Friday, So I've been having like pinky reddy discharge for a few days and the other day when I woke up and went to the toilet it was bright red... So I went to the hospital to get checked over they monitored baby and he was fine, and she did an internal and told me I had been bleeding from the neck of my womb and mentioned something about cervical erosion? So I've had more bloody dischargy stuff it's not bright red but it's more red than any other colour... Can anyone tell me if anyone else has had this? This is my first baby too btw

I'd be less interested in what the strangers on here have to say and more interested in what the midwives and doctors had told me.. if your concerned about anything then go back to your midwife/doctor. It sounds like baba is putting pressure on your cervix and or causing friction. This can happen from sex as well. If baby is fine and it's not placental bleeding then that is reassuring.

Yep you can have bleeding from a cervical erosion when it suffers some sort of stress, sex, etc.

I had this, it's like a raw area of cells on your cervix which can happen through hormone changes. It's really sensitive and bleeds easily. Mine must have resolved as it was never mentioned at my next smear x
