With my second, I'm hot, tired, moany and constantly need a wee...anyone else in a similar position?

Don't get me wrong I'm pleased to be pregnant but was hoping the rain would last a bit longer lol I'm not even showing much, my bump is small but I'm uncomfortable and counting down the days until half term and her due date

@ColourfulOrangex I totally feel your pain. I'm 34+2 and climbing the walls. Don't want my girl to come too early but hoping & praying to go around 38 weeks! If one more person tells me how " neat" I am I may screammmmmm!!

SelfObsessionHoney · 23/05/2017 15:57

Fuck yes. 33+4 here and baby can't come soon enough. Potentially getting induced early due to baby being the size of a toddler already so hopefully not that much longer to go.

@SelfObsessionHoney I went for a wellbeing scan last week and I was measuring a week behind! Hope she's just slightly smaller than her big bro & still comes on time if not early. My first was born at 38 weeks and weighed 7.14 !!

@deb1407 I think people assume just because we don't have massive bumps that it's not uncomfortable and it's like well I still have a person in there who feels the need to karate kick me every so often

@SelfObsessionHoney I hope baby isn't too big for you! My first was only 5lb 13oz (18 days early but perfectly healthy) and I'm kind of hoping this one is roughly the same but she probably won't be lol

34 weeks today and fed up, have been for some time. Still seems like a very long wait. I'm measuring a bit big on bump but growth scans seem fine (was having them anyway) but certainly won't be a small baby it seems.
Hoping bean will arrive before due date. The idea of up to another two weeks is awful.

I just want to get on with being a mum now

@arbrighton I know what you mean, seems everything is ready and we just need the baby! Grin

28 +4 with my 5th & I swear I started feeling 3rd trimester-ish at about 24/25 weeks. It's going bloody slow too. I'm hoping things speed up after half term next week when the older 3 dc are back in school & nursery. I've appointments pretty much every week from now on so it should. I do now have maternity shorts however so I won't be quite so hot on school runs!

35 weeks here with my 4th and I've felt incredibly uncomfortable for weeks now! I keep getting measured small, growth scans fine and I bet my house on it that as long as he arrives on time he'll be no less than 8lb 5oz! My others were all late so I'd be extremely shocked if he's early!

I was 2 weeks late with my first 2 and the mere thought of that this time brings me to tears 😫

I hope time speeds up for us all, this weather doesn't help (not sure what it's like everywhere but in the south it's horrible and hot)

I haven't had any guesses at how much baby weighs yet, according to my app she is the size of a squash Grin

If you were early with your first is it likely that you will be early with second? Or is this just hopeful thinking? Grin my midwife has told me that she may come early but Knowing my luck she will be late lol

Ems I asked my consultant today about my chances of making it to my edd (my older 4 go from 35 weeks at the shortest to 39+4 longest) & he said that he would put money on it coming before 40 weeks unless this baby is with a new partner (which it isn't).

They reckon if it keeps growing at the rate it currently is it'd be measuring about 10-12lbs and have a 32 inch leg by 40 weeks Shock

This is my fifth I'm only 22 weeks and extremely cranky.

I'm blaming the heat.

Report
ColourfulOrangex · 23/05/2017 19:24

I think the heat makes it much worse, I just had an email telling me that the " temperature of amniotic fluid is a higher temperature than the rest of our body"...so as well as it being hot outside we are basically hot water bottles :(

SelfObsessionHoney · 23/05/2017 19:54

The heat is not helping. At all!
Neither is my SPD, UTI or the fact that I cockled over and now can't fully weight bare on my right ankle.
Grumpy woman today!

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 23/05/2017 20:18

Yes do call & get checked deb. Especially if you're having what could be contractions. It might be something it might be nothing (your mucous plug can regenerate) but it's best to be sure.
