Feels like I've been pregnant for 25 years

Fucking hell! Everyone's telling me the last 8 weeks is going to go so slow. Is this true?

Feels like I've been pregnant forever and this is my first! Haven't been feeling the greatest throughout the whole thing (which I think is making it worse) but I just want baby to hurry up and get here now. Really not enjoying being pregnant at the moment.

At the beginning I was so excited which I think made it seem like time was going quickly. It was Christmas, and just after was my birthday, so I had a few things to be hyped up about.

Now I just feel so worn out and everyday feels so longgggg! 😩

It's all worth it in the end!

I'm coming up 36 weeks and got pregnant a short few weeks after a 13 week loss, so some days I feel I should be 49 weeks pregnant!

If you are about 32 weeks, then that's only 5 weeks until full term! Your baby could arrive in 35ish days time!! That's not long. Smile

@NotAnotherUserName5 sorry for your loss. Good luck with everything.

I know it will all be worth it in the end 😊have a countdown on my phone so it's no time compared to the start which is great haha.

Hopefully it happens sooner rather than later.

Also 34week. Booked in to have babe at 39 but I feel so shite and have had complications this time that I want it over with and baby out safely. It will be worth it, this is my second and you do forget. But it's bloody hard when you're in it!!

@lalaland1985 WOW! Hope baby gets here soon for you. Really hope I don't go over.

Had to go into hospital last week because I couldn't feel him moving. (He was fine) Ended up having to sit in the waiting area for 7 hours and the amount of people I saw in labour/their waters were breaking next to me was kind of scary. I know their isn't a long time left when you think of it in weeks, but I'm really not ready for labour or anything if he decided to come too early! 🙈

Lalalan - you're a proper veteran! aha

I'm 32 weeks, cannot wait to go on mat leave. After that I'll be fine doing nothing, but the next 4 weeks feel like 4 months...... I'm so heavy my bum hurts from sitting on it all day...

I'm 39+5 and oh my god it's like it's never going to end 😩 it's gotten easier since I've finished work but im still more than ready for the baby to come out now.

And I swear the next person to ask me if I've had any twinges yet is going to get punched in the face. In the nicest possible way. YOU WILL ALL KNOW WHEN I'M IN LABOUR BECAUSE I'LL BE SHOUTING IT FROM THE ROOF TOPS.

Enjoy it! Every other pregnancy after your first goes super quick, you dnt have time to sit and chill your running around after your other kids!

Er...mine didn't. Both my pregnancies went on for approximately a decade, and I never even got to the full 40 weeks.

When a midwife told me enjoy the last few weeks of my second pregnancy I felt quite violent.

I hate to say this but the first six weeks of my first baby's life were also interminable

glitterglitters · 17/05/2017 15:42

Lol this is my second and although the pregnancy has gone quick the first two trimesters this one is dragging and exhausting with a toddler.

I'm only just 30 weeks and time has sped by so far and now seems to be slowing down as I get more uncomfortable by the day! My belly feels so bruised (I'm guessing the muscles are finally tearing apart Confused) and baby's kicks are bordering on painful!
I'm not even that big yet (I thought anyway...) and I'm already getting the 'how much longer?' 'I thought you'd already be on mat leave' questions, another 7 weeks of this at work fills me with dread.
Just trying to focus on how worth it it will be in the end and with it being the first, I can at least relax and (sort of) get some sleep without worrying about running round after other children!
Hope the final few weeks go quickly for you and little one makes a smooth appearance :)

I'm 5 days overdue! Just want him here now. I was induced at 12 days over with my first. My womb is too comfy!

38+1 here and I feel like it was only yesterday I was having a wee on a little stick while planning on what to wear out that night... those months have absolutely flown by, and isn't slowing down at all for me!

Know the feeling Smile I'm 32 weeks and ready for it to be over already.i'm due 10 days after my birthday so keep getting the 'oh hopefully you go early' and 'seems like yesterday you only just announced it' not to me it doesn't 😒 I'm mainly just focusing on finishing off work and spending the next 8 weeks having quality time with my two dd's before the little man turns up

I'm 33weeks and feel like I'm becoming more and more miserable by the day !!! Everything is stretched beyond its limits, everything hurts/aches, I gave up on sleep months ago, my hips ache - yet by the time I've switched sides I'm wide awake lol, I have heartburn which keeps me awake and I'm fed up of people at work commenting "are you STILL pregnant....have you not finished yet....it feels like you've been pregnant forever!!!" The list is endless!!!!

See....really miserable 🙈😂
