Didn't want to read and run, and it's late so not sure how many replies you might get.

It's so hard this limbo between now and 12 weeks. Congratulations though Flowers

Keeping yourself busy, trying not to think about it, not easy. Especially if you don't tell anyone till the 12 week mark. It's so hard.

Hoping the weeks fly by for you x

I think it's very very common to wonder if anything will be in there. Especially as some women have no symptoms and most have zero bump even by 12 weeks.

If your BP keeps rocketing I would see the doctor about the ASAP though.

Hey,

I'm almost six weeks pregnant with my fifth baby, having horrendous nausea and I STILL worry that there won't be anything in there at the 12 week scan! I think it's normal to worry. Mothers worry. And I assume it's very rare to get to a scan and find nothing in there :)

I feel exactly the same, I'm 4+3 and this is my 4th pregnancy following a DD who is now 2, and two early mc. Not sure if it's an option for you due to cost but I'm getting a private scan at 8w, according to some studies I've read the risk of mc drops to just 2% if baby is healthy at an 8 week ultrasound. In my area near London it's £70-90 for a private scan but I know in other parts of the country it can be much cheaper.

@Hilaryc1 hiya Hun, I'm the same. I'm 4 weeks pregnant, cramping and bloated and my hormones are everywhere! I genuinely feel like something going to go wrong at any minute - know I'm not going to relax until after my scan. It's my first time so I'm unsure how I'm suppose to feel, or if how I'm feeling is normal!!

Congrats btw Grin
Xx

For what it's worth, I'm 23 weeks pregnant and still think something awful is going to happen. I've had two miscarriages before and ttc for 3 years with this pregnancy. I don't think anyone is ever fully confident and worry-free. There's not a great deal anyone can say because I know how it is in your own mind. Maybe try and get a private scan before hand if you're really anxious, but I can tell you from my perspective that the anxiety will return a few days later haha. Good luck ♥ xxx

Hope I can join.

I am 4wk+5 and I am getting so many cramps on and off and it has been worrying me! It is nice to see everyone's posts about this being normal as it is my first pregnancy. I am anxious about the 12 weeks scan as I am overweight and I don't think I am prepared for the midwife to judge me!

Congrats everyone btw x Smile
