Hi

Looking for some reassurance as first pregnancy! I'm 4 weeks pregnant and getting stomach cramps in lower abdomen. I'm also an emotional wreck which seems to make my cramps worse and I'm sure my other half will leave me (he just keeps staring at me not knowing what to do Grin. Are these things normal so early on??

I got stabby pains low down in tummy in both pregnancies in the early weeks perfectly normal for me.

As for the other half it is normal to be a bit shocked even if the pregnancy is planned. It's a big thing and a responsibility that can take some getting use too. my second pregnancy is totally planned but it took me at least 3 days to get over the oh hell how am I going to cope with 2

Hi ladies, just been reading these threads and feeling a little reassured, first pregnancy and in 5+4. Having an early scan on Friday when I'll be 6 weeks, after having some period trouble prior to this my doctor is double checking everything, I've been having some lower pains/cramps/niggles.... I don't know quite what they have been, not severe but being my first time I'm very anxious. Hearing others having similar feelings makes it feel more normal. So hard when you just don't know what to expect! Fingers crossed all is well at my scan but I am aware they may not see anything just yet being so early. Anyway, stay well ladies xx

Lots of cramps with my first too.. some really bad like awful period pains .. apparently is just ligaments and stuff moving around and is nornal! If they get worse can get an early scan to check all.ok.. I did at 6 weeks as had ones that left me in a cold sweat they were so bad.. but everything was ok!

I'm 4+5 today and since this day last week I've been getting cramps like af is about to come. Really it's jus my little bean settling in and making itself comfy for 9 months :)

I'll be 5 weeks on Sunday with my first. Took us 8 months of trying to get here, which I know is within the normal time frame for my age but it honestly felt like years. I felt so depressed in the few weeks before I conceived that I stopped taking my folic acid. Re-started as soon as I had a positive test but i'm feeling guilty about it :/

I've been feeling crampy for the last 2 weeks or so but nothing painful as such. Sickness has already started so i'm pretty gutted as it's quite early and wasn't expecting it for another couple of weeks lol.

I've had to tell work and a lot of my colleagues already because I work with radiation and chemo so there's a few things I have to avoid doing.

Just can't stop the feeling that something is going to go wrong. I've booked an early reassurance scan with a private clinic on the 15th to check there's actually something in there!

I am 5+3 today and we only found out yesterday due to being on holiday. I have the same, mind cramping, sore boobs, feeling sickly every now and again.

My OH is still in shock too! Hasn't even really spoke about it since we found out 🙈 i don't think either of us think it's real yet.

Good luck to you all

I had cramps continually till about 16/18 weeks, although I do have endometriosis. It's normal with all the stretching and growing that you'll have twangs and pangs though :)
