Saw this campaign has just been launched
always ask

  • encouraging women to speak to their midwife/doctor if they feel something is not right and don't just rely on "classic symptoms" before flagging something up.

I ignored signs in my twin pregnancy, putting them down to being "just one of those things" and being different to my previous pregnancy because there were two babies instead of one. As a result they were born very prematurely - I think if I'd asked for advice or help before I noticed the classic symptom (in my case, I went into hospital when I noticed some slight bleeding) things may have very different.

Just wanted to say trust your instincts and ask for advice (or a second opinion if necessary).
