Hello! I have been TTC baby number two for 3.5 years, two years ago I was told IVF was my only option.
Today I have taken four tests (just to be sure) and all of them are positive!
I'm a bit shocked, obviously delighted, but can't tell DH for another week as he works away.
I thought I should set up a thread for any other Christmas bumps!

Congratulations!! I've just found out today too. Worked out due around 23rd December. My periods have been bit erratic recently so may be few days either side. What a lovely Christmas present for us all!

I found out yesterday, due Dec 28th but sure it's an elective c section for me - this is baby number 3 - so guessing around the 23rd. Congrats everyone :-) x

I might jump onto this post if it's ok? I'm new to here and this is my first post... eeek!
We got our beautiful positive yesterday, I couldn't believe it as was using an eBay cheapie and got a very very faint line, we went and bought a clear blue digital and got the words I've been wanting to see! Pregnant 1-2 weeks!!'.
Now I may not belong on here as when I put my last period date in, my due date has come up as 1st Jan 2018... lol! But really wanted to join so I can see what you're all going through and compare!! Smile

I found out I was pregnant yesterday last night. Four positive tests on eBay cheapies and a late period but still not convinced 😂. Estimated due date 28th December ...

This might sound like a silly question but this is all so new to me!
I've just booked a docs appt for wed to confirm and get things started. I was going to take my partner but not sure if people normally do, will you be or going on your own? x

@MummyM33 At the first Drs appointment they just ask last date of period and take your blood pressure, they'll then refer you to a midwife so quick appointment. Not really worth partner going but can take them Smile

When I went for my first appt when I was pregnant with my daughter they asked my partner about his family's medical history, i.e. health problems like heart conditions, diabetes etc.. This time around he can't come to the appt but I know all of his answers anyway so midwife said that's fine!

Yes first appointment not worth taking your partner I think though doesn't matter if you do of course. At my last they just asked the date of my last period and totally ignored him!

I rang my doctors today and they said that they don't deal with the first appointment. I had to fill in a piece of paper and wait for my midwife to see it Friday and then she will contact me to come to my house for the first appointment

Everywhere is so different, my gp didnt even want to see me, just gave me the number of the midwife team and i had to call them and make an appointment!
First appointment with them is 18th may x

Has anyone got pain in their stomach?? Like lower down. It bloody hurts 😫 I forgot what being pregnant is like , my kids are 7&6!

Report
MsRose31 · 26/04/2017 19:47

Hey Meeshel, how's the pain doing? I'm getting niggles rather than pain, but it feels similar to my last pregnancy which ended in a miscarriage Sad
