Thanks MrsJ! How's your morning sickness now?

MrsB12345 · 16/04/2017 22:46

Fab. Great idea. So I'm now 11 weeks and been having light pulling crampy feelings. Keep burping up sick too Confused and have pangs of nausea. Anyone else?x

becky291180 · 16/04/2017 22:53

Hello, new to this site - I was steered in this direction by my sister in law who found it a great support during her pregnancy and still does.

I am 17 weeks and have suddenly become an emotional wreck 😥 Crying at anything and struggling to like any part of myself. My husband is not remotely supportive of my mental state and has said he wants the woman he married back.... I am not sure where she went 😫

He is supportive with regards to work, home life etc but can't process my hormonal state at all and just gets angry.

Is this normal? Any suggestions to feel more emotionally stable would great!! Xx

ew1990 · 16/04/2017 22:58

@mrsjkerry I keep burping sick too but feeling very lucky as the only symptoms I have is tiredness which is not as extreme now I'm getting near 12 week and sore boobs xxx

ew1990 · 16/04/2017 22:59

Tagged wrong person meant @MrsB12345 x

ew1990 · 16/04/2017 23:00

@becky291180 Ive not got any suggestions as such but I felt very emotional on Friday and just had a right good cry by myself, xx

becky291180 · 16/04/2017 23:22

Thanks for your response ew1990! Xx

MrsB12345 · 16/04/2017 23:41

My niece with her new tshirt on. We put her in this and she ran into the lounge wearing it to surprise everyone with our news Grin going to wait a few more weeks until we do the proper Facebook announcement x

@becky291180 my husband is the same. He told me I needed to get my hormones under control and keeps saying pregnancy isn't an illness. I'm ignoring him when he's like that. All other times he's great and I get foot rubs etc but sometimes he thinks he knows best Hmm

lydiangel83 · 17/04/2017 03:30

I've just realised that I will be over 12 wks (12+3) at my scan date. I'm away the 2 wks before so may try and get early appt before I go. Anyone fancy my chances on NHS or would private screening show Downs risk etc?

lydiangel83 · 17/04/2017 03:30

@MrsB12345 @becky291180 also v emotional! Crying and angry and not sleeping doesn't help!!

mrsjkerry · 17/04/2017 07:12

@becky291180 ignore him!! My husband rolls his eyes but he knows I'd throw a tantrum bigger than he wants to deal with if he said anything like that 😄 he did say I needed to get my eating under control though haha!

@MrsB12345 that's sooo cute! I designed a "great granny" card for my granny yesterday. I'm so so excited to tell her! Also, I'm not burping sick but I feel sick all the time and burping sometimes eases the nausea!

sophr2017 · 17/04/2017 08:26

Aww MrsB that's so cute!!

Becky on the app I use there is a lot of advice for partners as well, would something like that be useful for him? Explains the way we can feel etc? More importantly than him, have you spoken to your midwife about the way you feel, sounds like you could do with some additional support from them? Although it is very normal to feel this way, I have had a fair few arguments with my husband since finding out, but I know we are both stressing!

Jessiecat27 · 17/04/2017 08:58

Hey ladies!
@Becky mine tells me I'm allowed to be hormonal (snapping at him not crying) once a week, haha! Just explain to him that you're not the only one, every pregnant woman will go through hormonal changes and they have to deal with it because they get a child at the end of it! Grin
I'm really struggling to sleep, 10 weeks today and my whole back is aching all night and all day, any suggestions?

sophr2017 · 17/04/2017 09:43

Baths and a hot water bottle helped me Jessie, although I then worked out my back was hurting because my boobs had got bigger so my bra wasn't fitting properly!! could it be that?

MrsB12345 · 17/04/2017 12:19

@Jessiecat27 @sophr2017 I got one of these today. I'm 11w3d and get terrible back ache at night. I got remeasured too and have gone up from a 38g to a 42g and have also discovered to comfort of non wired bras #lifechanging. I also bought this today. It came highly recommended from my sister. Can't wait to get into bed tonight x

MrsB I've heard about those! I might try it, you'll have to let us know if it's any good! I'm normally ok at night and it's definitely eased off for me a bit now!

I'm 14+6 today and I've felt less pregnant this last week then I have since I found out, it's very odd!!

ew1990 · 17/04/2017 13:08

Any of you girls got a bump yet? I had a massive one the other day (bloating) and couldn't hide it in my normal clothes, today my stomachs flat, can't wait for a proper bump, xx

THirdEeye · 17/04/2017 13:56

Mine bump is very up and down too ew, I think it's all down to bloating like you say Smile.

We're waiting to tell everyone until after the 12w scan, which is next week so not long to go now.

ew1990 · 17/04/2017 13:58

We've told close family, mums and siblings, even though I've just had a scan at 10+2 and everything was fine we are still waiting till after the 12 one to tell everyone else, xx

MrsB12345 · 17/04/2017 15:18

I'm a plus size mummy to be. The left pic is 6 weeks and the right is 11 weeks. I don't notice much difference although I can tell as my clothes are tighter now x

This is me at 10 weeks. As I've said before, it's not easily to determine Pregnancy bump from bloating/weight gain!

I hate being in this awkward stage where it isn't a bump yet! I heard my granny and uncle talking about the fact that I'd gained a bit of weight and I wanted to tell them but we are waiting until 12 weeks to be 100%. Rude hmm!! 🤔😄 I'm paranoid about going back to school tomorrow. Everyone will just think I've got fat 😩 (which I also kinda have from all the Coke and crisps...)
