Im now 2 days late, have had painful cramps today only, but no signs of af arriving, im usually right on time but theres nothing! I already have 3 kids, 8 3 & 2 i know all i need to do is test but i can't get my hands on one until Thursday 😣 i can't stop worrying its giving me horrendous heartburn and stopping me from sleeping. Termination isnt for me. 4 kids is doable right?! Im more worried about the cost and what others will think! Thats sad right? Oh god and the space 🙁😯 dont what response im expecting.....just dont have anyone else to talk to about this 😔

Take a deep breath OP Flowers

You may be lat because you've worked yourself up over worrying, in that case you don't have to worry.

If you are pregnant, You will work it out. It may be tough but four kids is okay, people who judge aren't helpful to you! You've done this before with three children so you know the drill. Your oldest is eight so there's a nice gap for when they will be teenagers and taking up a lot of space (and food!).

Not totally sure what else I can say to help, just wish I could give you a hug and say you'll be okay xx

Are you sure you can't pick up a test from somewhere? You can get them from everywhere these days. I think it's best not to speculate until you know for sure.

We've got a birthday tomorrow and a family day out Wednesday, waiting in for deliveries today, the only chance ive got is Thursday, unless i ask my partner, i just dont want to stress him out if theres nothing to actually stress about you know.
I definitely care waaaay to much what others think.

Thank you both for replying tho! Its helping to get it off my chest a little.

Hopefully your deliveries will come early and you can nip to the chemist or supermarket to pick one up today. Or pop out this evening when your husband is home. Or make a stop at a petrol station in the morning. I think you should do it for peace of mind.

Your partner will pick it up and if you're pregnant have to deal with anyway and if not, not be stressed out. Think it's a bit odd to wait 4 days if it's a big deal

Changed name.
I know what you mean sounds bloody daft right! I dont want anyone knowing and worrying unless i am. Oh owns his own business and is under a lot of stress as it is,i dont want to put anymore on him 😕
If i get a quiet moment before Thursday I'll definitely be picking one up!
Its really helped calm me down just typing it on her and getting replies.

If you're not pregnant, sort out some decent contraceptive if you really don't want another. Then you won't get like this again.

Lol i cant use any contraception that stays inside
Im still bf my 2 yr old who is on medication herself so that takes out most hormonal ones, and im allergic to the mini pill.
We have been using condoms which have worked fine for the past 2 years, up to now possibly....gets some facts before attacking. I was looking for emotional support not some know it all witch with a stick up her arse.
Thanks for your very unhelpful reply tho x

Op your reply to the PP is out of order
you don't need sympathy. you need a pregnancy test. none of the reasons you have listed prevent you from getting one.

No real advice other than A) get a pregnancy test and B) both pregnancies I suspected something was off as I had no PMS/cramps/period symptoms at all. 2 days late and cramps sounds like AF is coming soon to be honest. But only one way to know!

As for BC can you try the implant or Depo? Both OK for breastfeeding. I'd also say your 2 year old is not going to be v affected by any hormones given her age and likely number of times she nurses a day. Personally I didn't take any BC while BF (17 months) but we were OK to have a second by that point and my period didn't return until 14 months anyway.

I already said i know all i need to do is test. I was worried and wanted to talk about it. And ive had 2 cramping feelings on the second day but none of other usual symptoms, hence the worrying. Im classed as over weight so some bc are not suitable, and the depo i tried a few years ago had me bleeding for a few months pretty much constantly. Youngest is on a medication and i was told certain bc weren't suitable if im bf. She still feeds about 3-5 times a night and 3 times a day (I know i need to stop 😒 ) could i possible be too afraid of the answer? Yes. Could that be why im not finding any reason possible to go get one? Yes. Jeez.

Tbf on OP, I understand the whole not being able to (or wanting to be on) contraception. I'm unable to handle anything that changes my hormone balance and condoms really fucking hurt me. I know there are other options and "pulling out" isn't the safest but it worked for me fine. (FYI pregnant now due to choice). Plus you came on here for support about your current situation, you are clearly really anxious and stressing and needed some advice and a few kind words. Being told about contraception isn't very useful at this point... Plus I'm sure you know how to get it if you wanted it.

I hope you are able to find out soon either way OP and you'll be fine either way I'm sure. You're an experienced mum and you'll probably find the 8 year old will want to get all involved in helping out. Xx

Thank you DinosaurFanGirl. It did help to talk and get it off my chest, helped me enjoy yesterday and today more! Not knowing for sure meant theres still a chance im not (in my head at least). Still no sign but I'll be testing tomorrow. Thanks again for your kind words x

4 DC is hard work! But definitely do-able. I quickly had to get over what people think when i had DC4 as a single mum. At least you have a partner.
I can't use hormonal contraception either, but love my copper coil, I've been lucky it hasn't caused me any probs so far.
Anyway, good luck for tomorrow!
