Noticed some swelling around my knees starting yesterday morning. Skin is mottled, goes purple when I've been standing for more than 10 mins. Slight tenderness on the left calf, left leg measuring 2cm larger than right.
As it was still there today I called GP who sent me off to hospital for checking. No blood clots which is good. However, what is it? Is this normal pregnancy swelling? The skin feels tight and unless my legs are elevated and out straight then it is painful.
I'm 25 weeks pregnant, wasn't overweight before pregnancy, have put on approx 1 stone so far.
Any ideas? Dr Google just points me in the direction of a DVT.
