22+3 and really not enjoying this bit of pregnancy - throughout the day I get these horrid waves of emotion that just ripple through me.

It is a feeling a bit like the punch of dread you get in your stomach when you hear bad news, and rises like a lump up through my chest. So far has happened about six times a day and usually but not always when my bump is stimulated somehow - like a big meal being digested, or resting my bump against a desk or in the car.

Horrible - takes me a while to get myself together and so weird as I am generally not at all anxious or upset about anything!

Please tell me I am not the only one.

You aren't the only one I promise x

If things get too much see if you can talk to your mental health midwife, there are drop in session in my area.

Thanks - I am pretty sure it is just a flood of hormones and soon passes, but knocks me off my feet for a few minutes.

I had it over the weekend. I would just burst into tears, If DH said anything to me I would cry. He didn't know what to do with me.
Went for a small walk around to my moms and she just said its okay and normal. Had another cry then walked home crying... So last weekend I cried a lot! smile
Last few days have been a lot better thank god. Its such a horrible feeling - hope you feel better soon!

Yep it is normal and it hits me when I'm least expecting it, usually when watching something stupid on telly grin I've got a really supportive dh and he is really patient with me but has asked me to stop fbing as it is constantly giving me the rage angry
