Hope you are ok, bleeding is a horrible thing to go through. I had this just slightly later than you are and it was a subchronic hematoma. Was absolutely fine and after a bit more bleeding it was gone by 20 weeks scan. Good luck

I had this at 12 weeks and it was so scary. A heavy bleed and a large clot. It's going back 20 years now and an out of hours doctor made a home visit, told me to rest and see my GP on the Monday (this was the Saturday evening). There was no more bleeding and the cause wasn't investigated. My 12 week scan was booked for a few days later anyway so I had to wait until then to check all was well.
It was and my son is just coming to the end of the second year of university.

Really hope all goes well for you.

I had a watery, pink bleed at 14 weeks. No pain and bleeding lessened over a couple of weeks. Had scan baby fine and cervix was closed but very scary at the time. Hospital at the time couldn't explain it. At 18 weeks had transvaginal scan scan for unrelated check of cervix length due to previous LLETZ procedure and they found a harmless polyp on my cervix which they said would probably have caused the bleed. No further problems now 40 weeks pregnant Smile didn't even know I had a polyp and if I hadn't have had my cervix checked I still wouldn't know what caused the bleed. Good luck

Oh Misssmoo, I'm so sorry. That is devastating to hear. I hope the hospital will investigate since it's not an early mc. Take care of yourself, it's so horrible to go through. I've been there. :( xx

Sorry to read this Misssmoo. Have the hospital talked you through your next steps? Hope you've got someone at home looking after you. x
