Just on for a bit of a moan/reassurance/sympathy!
I'm 28+3 with my second and my GOD my bits hurt. They feel so heavy and achy and are quite swollen. I've had a look and looks like I've got at least one really ugly varicose vein and I think another on the other side.
I work 3 full days a week and although I can rest when I need to I do have to spend a lot of the day on my feet, so by the end of the day I'm actually too uncomfortable to even stand up when I get home. I've got a 2.5yo DD too who I spend the majority of my time running after and carrying.
The other thing is I contracted herpes (type 2 I think) many years ago before I met DH and other than the initial outbreak didn't suffer at all with them until I became pregnant with DD. I was utterly miserable with them by end of pregnancy and had to be on antibiotics constantly to keep them at bay. Haven't had any outbreak at all since having DD but thinking this might be them rearing their ugly head and adding to the discomfort. No blisters yet bit a lot of paper cut like marks
Baby is measuring big and I'm really quite short so not sure if that's adding to it all too.
Anyway, thanks for reading my moans! Not something I can freely talk about IRL (although DH is very sympathetic). Currently soaking in a hot bath and dreading getting out.
