I have been trying to get mine for 5 weeks and NO boots stores near me (I have tried 6) have them. They practically laugh me out the door. Anyone actually managed to get one?

I know! So annoying. They say try others stores but I don't really want to drive all over the city paying for parking. Glad to see you can order online

They're really not worth worrying about, you just get lots of leaflets and a few samples.

Just make sure you don't give Bounty your address or phone number at any point...

Why do you want one?

Is just a couple of free samples. Not a big deal.

Agree. Utter waste. Just shitloads of promotional leaflets.

They're a waste of time. Just loads of leaflets and a few crappy free samples.

UndersecretaryofWhimsy · 07/03/2017 17:09

Eh, they're rubbish anyway. Just cheap crappy samples of things they don't actually need, but having got your details they will then bombard you with promotional mail for the next 10 years.

As others have said they're not worth stressing over. I picked mine up from asda. Not sure if you have one close by?

Says that they can also be collected from Asda and Tesco

Report
Celticlassie · 07/03/2017 17:23

Do they not give them to you in the hospital?

Report
BakerBear · 07/03/2017 17:26

They are rubbish. They are full of leaflets, afew sample pots of ezcema (baby johnsons) i call it ezcema as its way too harsh for newborns and thats it.

I don't think op's listening! Even 25 years ago it was crap. The only thing I used was a PG tips teabag.

I got mine at the weekend and it was hugely disappointing. A teeny pot of sudocrem and a pile of leaflets. You're not missing out!

Look out for any local baby shows or events, you will get better freebies at those than in a bounty pack :)

There was a huge campaign against Bounty a few years ago, wasn't there? They were employing really aggressive tactics in Labour wards to get women's details and completely rode roughshod over any kind of sensitivity - including women who'd lost their babies. My husband had to tell our Bounty lady to leave in very strong terms, after I'd already told her on three separate occasions that I wasn't interested (she kept coming back to our room!)

Oh and the pack was shit. Literally just a load of leaflets and a folder to put your notes in - your notes that are already safely encased in a folder Hmm With subsequent pregnancies, I've always just taken my notes out and chucked that pack in the recycling.

Report
msgrinch · 07/03/2017 20:23

Why would you seek out something that you will end up chucking. They're nothing but a way of getting your info to spam you. If you want sudocreme and a single nappy im sure a friend will give it to you.
