Apples/short ladies, how did you look pregnant?

I'm just wondering how fellow apple shaped ladies or those under 5"4 showed when they were pregnant?

I am just under 5"2 and a definite Apple. Size 10 and hover between 9st and just under 10st. I don't look particularly in proportion, never put weight on my legs and have no bum. All weight is in my mid section, love handles, and belly!

As I'm an Apple, am I more likely to grow around my middle even more or will it spread all over? Will I gain a bum and bigger legs?

Can't seem to see any pictures of pregnant Apple ladies anywhere! Also, do short/Apple shaped ladies find it harder to lose the weight after?

I struggle to lose weight as it is, down to thyroid/hormone imbalances that I'm working on. Currently my cycles are over the place that I'm on natural progesterone to regulate them.

Don't think I will be able to get pregnant until that's under control, but interested in others experiences who have the same body shape or height! Where did you show and did you find it easy to lose the weight after?

I just looked completely spherical by the end. I'm 4'11" and was a size 16/18 to start with.

I didn't really put much on my legs/bum, it was all stomach. I did have to watch my diet due to gestational diabetes so didn't put on huge amounts of weight, and I lost it fairly quickly. But my body definitely doesn't look the same as it did pre-pregnancy!

I'm 17 weeks at the moment. 5 4 and very apple, usually weigh about 11 stone. I don't think i've got any more tummy bulk yet but i've changed from all over tummy fat to rounded tummy

I'm 5ft 3 and 7 months pregnant and am as wide as I am tall although it's all bump I've not put on much weight anywhere else.

Midwife told me it's all depends on torso length and she said there are lots of women with lengthy torso's who don't show much, but others (like me) have a short torso and small gap between bottom of ribs and hip bones and baby has nowhere to go but outwards!

I'm not short, but I am definitely apple shaped. I found that I looked pregnant very quickly because I already had a big belly. By the end my bump was enormous, but I still had a flabby bit at the bottom which was horrible. It then got worse after a c section and I was left with a big overhang.

I didn't struggle to lose the weight though and actually ended up much slimmer than I was pre pregnancy after dieting for a year. I was a size 18, now I'm a 10.

5' and very definitely apple shaped.

It was all out front, didn't look pregnant until the last couple of months at most but was utterly massive out front, lots of people asking if it was twins Hmm although DD2 did turn out to be 10lb 6oz Grin I got up to about 10.5 stone when I gave birth. Also the bump was from directly under my boobs and never "dropped"

I wasn't an apple before (am now though) but I'm 5"2. I showed really quickly and in the end resembled something between a whale and a birth ball.

Since having DS I've struggled with my weight as it's gathered around my waist. And like a pp I have a weird overhang above my cs scar.

I'm short (about 5'2) normally size 8 but an apple shape I've had two big babies (19lbs between them!) and both times when I was pregnant my bump was completely average size but on me it looked huge. However I only put weight on in the bump so legs etc were normal. It was ok to lose the weight I didn't diet at all so it went at a natural pace. I had sections so my stomach muscles are not what they were and I do have a tummy still but I think I look ok

I'm an apple, but tall, 5'8 and 68kg pre pregnancy. Boobs have stayed the same size, bums the same. Back seems a bit fatter but I'm mostly big belly still. I'm 27 weeks now and can tell I'm pregnant and not just a fatty
