Urgh. This pregnancy was so long awaited (5 years, 4 rounds of IVF and we lost this baby's twin at ten ish weeks) and I feel so awful and ungrateful for moaning. I've made it through so far with very little moaning about the physical effects (albeit with high anxiety due to our issues) but I am so ready to give birth! I haven't felt the ends of my fingers for 3 weeks and keep waking up with a claw hand (carpal tunnel) EVERYTHING gives me horrendous heartburn which makes me vomit acid and for the last few days I've had regular waves of feeling massively overheated and nauseous Hmm - have been checked out and all fine! My feet are swollen, DH has to cut my toenails and having had no stretch marks all the way through they have suddenly exploded across my lower belly in the last few days and I just had a little cry at DH about it Blush

I am so so grateful and happy to be pregnant after the last few years and can't wait for baby to be here now and I know it's just hormones/the cumulative effect of months and months of worry and physical symptoms, but seriously, late pregnancy sucks.

Ah bless you, I'm 36 + 4 with baby no2 and I'm exhausted. Last time pregnancy really agreed with me, this time it's booted me up the arse and laughed in my face.
I've got spd, feel constantly tired and run down and sick and I've got an energetic 3.11 year old to look after and I'm working until I'm 39 weeks. (Thankfully part time!)

I just want to curl up in my bed until someone sorts everything out for me and hands me a baby!

Curling up til someone hands me a baby sounds ideal!

It must be really tough with a toddler! Luckily I have finished work so can relax during the day! I don't envy your spd, my sister had that and it affected her terribly Flowers

We must be due on the same day Katniss.
I too have had horrible heartburn and sometimes puke acid in my mouth. I now only need to LOOK at a sandwich and I get it.
Our poor insides are all squashed up :(

I know exactly how you feel salmon, everything I eat is chosen on the basis of how it might taste coming back up the other way for the next 8 hours Hmm
