Pregnancy after recurrent miscarriages

I'm currently 5+1 and finding it hard to relax after a series of 5-9 week losses. Today I've been in a foul pmt style mood and have had some horrendous worse than a period cramps. No bleeding though. I'm using cyclogest and taking aspirin daily. My scan is booked for 10 weeks but I've not heard anything from midwives or consultant with an appointment.

I can't help but think I'm going to lose this pregnancy

How do you get rid of this fear?

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Cramping can be totally normal, it's all stretching and moving in there. Are you under a consultant following your previous losses?

The anxiety when you've had a loss is massive. Once you've lost a baby, however early it happens, your innocence is gone and it's all a lot more stressful.

What you can hold onto is that the chances of this pregnancy going to term are far higher than the chances of it not. And today you are pregnant. Keep that in mind and hold it in your heart when the panic starts to build.

There's a thread on here for those who are pregnant after losses where you'll find other people in a similar boat who can totally relate.

I wish you a happy, peaceful, boring and uneventful pregnancy and a squidgy baby at the end of it all x
