39+4 with first baby. I have a midwife appointment tomorrow morning but wanted to post on here for advice/experiences etc. Sorry if it's TMI or sounds silly, just all new to me.
Basically, baby has been fairly active all day . Moving, squirming, wriggling, sticking limbs out. The skin on my bump is extremely sore and tender (I've had this a lot in recent weeks but tonight is the worst). Baby started to engage a few weeks ago, moved back up but has dropped very low over the last few days. What's new to me tonight is the pain in my fanjo. It's feels like a mixture of the baby trying to burrow it's way out, gouging me from the inside and being stabbed in the fanjo. It's causing me to jump and yelp, never experienced anything like it. My poor nether regions are getting bashed from the inside. It's incredibly unpleasant. My poor OH looks scared every time I cry out from the sharp shooting pains it's been happening since late afternoon. Is it normal?
