Best maternity jeans?

Can anyone tell me their recommendations for best maternity jeans?

Looking for some over the bump, skinny ones and so much choice out there!

Currently looking at H&M, Blooming Marvellous/Mothercare and Next ... Any experiences?

Tia!

H&M were the best ones I got, the supersoft over bump ones lasted me all the way through from about 4 months when I couldn't get my buttons done until a few weeks months after DS was born coz they were so comfy! I had an indigo and black pair that went with everything, I think they were about £22 each but well worth the money

Topshop Leigh over the bump skinnies were my go to mat jean - wore them almost every day.

H&M for skinnies, wore them religiously from about 5 months and I have a feeling I waddled in to my induction wearing them.

For boyfriend fit, really liked George at Asda

Next or topshop, both really comfy and didn't have to keep pulling them up. Next ones were cheaper and washed better. Topshop looked more fashionable. Really didn't get on with my Gap ones and they were so expensive!

I have some black, skinny, over the bump jeans from H&M and they are the most comfortable jeans I have ever owned so I think I'm just going to wear them pregnant or not 😂

I had H&M jeans both times I was pregnant they were fabulous (and cheap!).

I've just bought some black skinny ones from next. They are really comfortable but one thing I didn't expect was the bump band is made from a see through mesh. Very comfy but it surprised me when I opened them!

H&m, really comfortable and reasonably priced.

H&m are great, cheap and cheerful. I bought some 4 years ago with my first and using them again this time round. Perfect belly height and great big tummy band. I have also used them when I wasn't pregnant on cold days! ;)

Topshop Leigh overbump skinnies. Best by far- best denim colour selection, fit and wash well. Their sizing is exact too- just buy the size you wear normally.

H&M sizing is really odd. They are very very narrow in the leg and also pretty long. If you are tall and very slim am sure they are great. But they can be quite depressing (I may have had a little cry in the changing room) to try on as you have to go up sooo many sizes just to get them over your knees!

Ps. The Blooming Marvellous look quite dated and also really thin fabric.

Another vote for the H&M ones here! Be warned though that they size up very small so you may need a size or two larger than you expected.

Fab, thanks everyone!

I bought a pair of Blooming Marvellous ones off eBay to see what they were like. They Keep sliding down and I'm spending most of the time pulling the, up Angry Not sure if it's just because I bought a side up and they are very stretchy or what lol!

Will give the H&M ones a try then. Thanks also for the sizing info, that's really helpful.

Another vote for H&M over the bump. I have 4 pairs. Love them even though they're 1-2 sizes bigger than normal and I have to have turn ups at 5foot4. I also have some new look under bump jeggings which are comfortable but fall down all the time if I walk at all.

Not over the bump but for skinnies, I bought jeggings or just skinny jeans a size or two up in Primark and they worked really well - the styles with an elasticated waist, not the button ones. I had about four pairs in denim, beige and bottle green and they were my casual wardrobe for almost the whole time I was in maternity wear. Looked a lot more expensive than they were and washed surprisingly well.

I second, third, etc h&m ones wore them practically everyday!

Yes h&m sizing is odd! I wore size 10 from all shops, and a 16 from h&m!

Tip same! I swear H&M are secret sadists. I was already feeling a bit of a hippo as it was. Thank god for Topshop! (OP, if you want to feel really good about yourself get New Look ones- I find I have to go a size down in their maternity wear!)

Shock Shock Shock Whaaaaat? OMG! That's mental!

10Betty10 - yes, I can see that I would have had a cry too! Blush

And ooh-er vfoster thanks for the heads up re the see through belly band. How peculiar, not sure about that!

I love eBay normally but maternity jeans off eBay didn't work for me - I think it's because the elasticated bit sort of given up by the end of the pregnancy and therefore not good for second time around.

Gap will make the H&M wearers feel better! I'm still in a size 8 over the bump style at 39 weeks and they're baggy. My size 10 H&Ms were cutting me in half about two weeks ago!
