Hiya ladies!
I don't know if I should be worried or I'm just being abit paranoid. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and seem to be losing weight. After weighing today for the first time since being 7 weeks pregnant I've lost 15lb.
I'm seeing my midwife on Tuesday but I wondered if anyone has experienced the same thing?
If so what did your midwife suggest.

Thanks ladies! Hope all pregnancy are going wellSmile

Are you suffering with sickness? Are you eating a lot less?

I've have been suffering with sickness from around 11 weeks!ConfusedI try to eat little and often but I am struggling to keep track of what I manage to keep down. I thought the weight loss could
be due to this but I'm unsure if there is help for sickness.
Thanks for the reply Smile

Did you previously drink a fair bit? You would have lost all those calories from your regular intake...

If you were overweight to begin with this should be nothing to worry about, if you have been struggling with sickness and appetite it's pretty common. If you were underweight however then I would say it's a cause for concern.

I've always been a steady size 14 so what I consider to be average ( room for some weight loss though Grin) I thought I'd see if anyone else has experienced weight lose in pregnancy and how much is too much to lose.
Thank you

I had the sickness the bonus was when I weighed myself when I got home from the hospital on all three occasions I weighed less than before I was pregnant. There is lots of advice on what to eat to help with sickness, in my case, Jacobs cream crackers and water, a friend swore by lucozade, it is individual to everyone. Good luck with the baby, I held a tiny one today it is a wonderful feeling.
