Hi I am new to this site and would if possible appreciate some information or experiences on missed miscarriages. I found out I was pregnant and was so nervous to wait until my 12 week scan (I have health anxiety and general anxiety) so booked for a private scan at 10+5 weeks to find out I was actually carrying twins I was so shocked but they were both bouncing about in their own little sacks also have their own placenta's from what the sonographer could see. We saw their beautiful heartbeats and the sonographer said they look very healthy and she wasn't worried even though twin 2 was measuring at 10+3 weeks which was 4 days behind twin 1 who as you could probably work out was measuring at 11 weeks. This was just over a week ago. Since I have found I am pregnant I have not stopped worrying about miscarriage or something else that could go wrong. I love these babies with all my heart and so do my other two children who are so excited but I can't help but be overwhelmed with this awful feeling that I will go to my 12 week scan on this Monday coming and find out I have lost one or even worse both of my babies due to a missed miscarriage. I haven't had any bleeding or any major cramping or pain other than the usual cramping/growing pains. I don't really have many symptoms never really have had which is another reason before my private scan why I was so worried something had gone wrong. I occasionally have nausea and have been sick a few times and some days have really sore boobs/nipples also they are veiny alot more than usual. I also am so bloated I look like I'm 5 months gone lol. I have a lot of stress at home and at work aswel as the twins father not wanting to know or be involved.
I was wandering if anyone else has these fears?
Thanks in advance.

I think it's very normal and it's agonising.
I had a scan at 10 weeks with this pregnancy and all was perfect, but I was still nervous system 12 and 20 week scans. All was fine.
I'm now 30 weeks and baby is wiggling away, but I'm still anxious!
Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Hello, I think it's natural to worry as you feel helpless to protect something you already love so much.

I've been under a miscarriage specialist and he believes week 10 is the big milestone! You've made it that far so the odds are really in your favour.

I can remember reading that when you've seen heartbeats, the chances of miscarriage are very low. Easier said than done, but try and relax and enjoy your pregnancy. Chances are that everything will be fine and you'll have two gorgeous babies :-)
