I'm 10 + 6 today and still feeling awful....and the days I did feel slightly better I still feel "off" if that makes sense?

Starting to feel a little down....like it's never going to get any better and it's going to be a tough few months!

I have a 2 year old DD so I'm looking after her whilst throwing up/nausea, severe tiredness, diarrhea, metallic taste in my mouth which won't shift!!!

:(

I hope it gets better too!! I'm 10+1 with my first baby, and also suffering with a chest infection at the moment, on antibiotics. I can't stop coughing, and the more I cough, the more I am sick!

I know what you mean about the some days better than others. How was it for your first baby? Did it get better after the first trimester? People keep telling me it will!!

All worth it in the end, and all that, though.

Oh goodness yes it totally does. For me it was week 16, suddenly the tiredness and sickness lifted and I felt great. From about week 20 I could start to feel baby move and it was so nice. Third trimester was shit though so make the most of that middle bit. Good luck and congratulations Flowers

Thanks Notfastjustfurious....really struggling with the first trimester....feels like I've been unwell for a very long time and not feeling myself. Really wanting to hear people tell me it will get better so nice to hear from you!

Slinkier I can't remember much of the first few months of being pregnant with DD....I do remember starting to feel the baby at 20 weeks or so and how amazing that was!! We should focus on that :) xx

I was so much better in the second trimester. I felt fine, better than before I was pregnant in fact.

It gets better. By week 14 with both pregnancies I wouldn't even have known I was pregnant. This was even after crippling all-day nausea with my first pregnancy. Hang in there!

I'm only 7+3 and struggling already. Every time I wake up I immediately need to be sick! I had my head in the toilet at work at 7am, then again at 12pm! Boobs also feel like there's scorching hot pins being stuck in my nipples!

Praying the 2nd trimester gets easier! Blush

Yes it's my first and have no idea what to expect! I naively underestimated how awful the sickness and tiredness makes you feel. Hope you feel better soon!

Yes it does get better. I'm 19 weeks and I think the nausea lifted at about 14 wks. I still get the odd wave especially in the evening but in general it is not as bad as it was much better than the feeling of 1st trimester.

You'll be fine! All three times the nausea lifted between 12-16 weeks and everything felt good.

Oh Rainbows, I had the boob thing too, but that seems to be improving but the sickness and tiredness is terrible. Thank you to all you lovely people who reassure is that there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Yes felt loads better after 14-15 weeks - no more nausea, no more vomiting and don't feel so tired. Hope you all have an easier time soon!
