Hi, I find it hard to cope recently with pregnancy. I have difficult relationship with the father of the child and quite a bit stress at work. Also I feel quite embarrassed to talk to friend or family about this because everyone just expects me to be happy. Does anyone gave experience with coping with depression and what are the resources available? I guess I will have to ask gp for this?

If you feel able you can also discuss this with your midwife. It's quite common for ladies to feel overwhelmed or depressed during pregnancy, and s/he will likely have supported other mums to be through this. Each area is different so I can't advise what is available alas. If you were in my area there is a specialist midwifery team who deal with antenatal depression.
