Pale green discharge early pregnancy

I'm 8 weeks pregnant following a miscarriage. Earlier today I had a small amount of pale green discharge when I went to the loo. No odour. This happened once last week but as I didn't have any more I didn't worry about it. But as I say I've had a little bit more today. Anyone else had this?

Could it be an infection? The amount of discharge in pregnancy really shocked me! Sorry about your loss. Flowers

Possibly. I'm going to ring and try and get in at doctors in the morning x

I would definitely say go to the doctor. They can do a swab to have tested to see what it is and if it needs treating.

I had this all the way through my pregnancy (on and off). Always worried about it but there were no issues. In my googling at the time, I discovered that it can sometimes be linked to sex (the shagging kind not the gender kind).

Obviously might be worth a doc visit in case it seems like an infection (they say green is a sign) but I just wanted to reassure you that it can be normal.

The discharge you get during pregnancy is so different to what you are used to. At least it has been for me. Also thrush and other infections are really common during pregnancy too so could just be something simple like that ☺

I had this on and off for the first 15 weeks or so, never had it in my 3 prior pregnancies so was a bit worried but was told it was normal. It was very snot/mucus like I think it's to do with the mucus plug forming?

I agree with @kelsey, I rushed to the doctor with my first because I was so worried about the amount of discharge. No one has ever warned me about that! I had a fairly pale creamy/green discharge the whole way through both pregnancies. I got tested at the doctors and it was absolutely fine. I would go and get it checked out, just to put your mind at ease. Honestly though, discharge is completely normale (spread the word!)

Thanks! Just rang and spoke to midwife. She said go and get some swabs done to see if it's something that needs treating. I asked if it could cause a problem because I've left it a week to be treated and she said no not to worry.

She said urine infections are common in pregnancy so could be that

I get a pale green discharge in pregnancy, I had swabs upon swabs done and never anything found. Im breastfeeding this time and it's carried on throughout this too, had swabs done again and nothing at all wrong.... So I'm assuming it's an hormone thing for me.

Went to see the midwife! She took a swab and said to call Tuesday for results. She said she doesn't think it's anything but if it is anything we'll just get it treated!
