Unfortunately there is nothing you can do but wait it out. Plenty of women bleed through out their pregnancies to a successful birth. For many others it is a sign of miscarriage.

There is nothing a go or anyone can do. If there is something wrong with the baby nature will hopefully take its course. If all is well your pregnancy will continue.

All you can do is try and remain as calm as possible - I say this as someone who has had 8 miscarriages.

It's hideous though and I hope you have a happy outcome.

Please relax. It's probably nothing, could just be an implant bleed. Just rest and relax( as much as possible) and wait for the doctor

Maybe, maybe not. There's nothing at this stage that us or the dr can tell you. You just have to wait and see Flowers

I've had this and been totally fine, and I've had this and gone on to miscarry so it's really just a wait and see unfortunately Flowers

The doctor might send you for an early scan but I think it's probably too soon to see a heartbeat?

All you can do is be positive and look after yourself. Be the best you can be for baby. I know the worry is probably eating you up. But take the positive from it. It was only when you wiped. No heavy bleeds and no painful cramps. That's a very good sign. Light cramps and twitches are ok. I'm sure baby is just getting comfy. That might have been your implantation bleed. X

I had the same thing around 7 weeks and it was fine, my doc said aslong as the pain wasn't severe and the blood wasn't red then it's fairly common. Maybe try and contact your local early pregnancy unit they may be able to see you, scan you and give you the answers you need, that's what I did and all was fine saw a nice strong heartbeat I'm now 13+ 5 and all is still well x

I bled on & off throughout my pregnancy - more so in the first 12 weeks. I was constantly terrified & I don't think that fear when you see blood ever goes away. BUT I'm now sat with my 14 week old happy & healthy son. If you ever feel worried phone your EPU. Always best to put your mind at ease if possible.

It could be what's caused an implantation bleed and might settle. I had quite a heavy one and it settled. Nothing can be done either way aside from a scan. Try to relax as much as poss.Flowers

Im not a doctor BUT at 8 weeks i had period cramps and bad back ache, i also bled and i bled for 8 weeks after that. I know at 8 weeks i was lucky enough to have a scan and have reassurance, and i know that you cant have that so early on but i just wanted to say you can have cramps and things and bleed and everything is okay. Im 26 weeks now, ive always been told by every midwife cramps are normally normal and bleeding is only a concern if its bright red and like a period x

Hi Corey.
I know everyone is different, but I had this at around 6 weeks with DD. A LOT of blood every time I wiped and was changing a pad every couple of hours. It was terrifying. We went to the out of hours and after waiting a long while saw a doctor who literally poked my stomach and said "looks like you're miscarrying, we'll book you a scan to confirm" Shock He was pretty terrible really. Had the scan just over a week later and all was absolutely fine. I've never felt relief like it. As I said, I know everyone is different but it really could be normal. The nurse at the scan said that it's more common than you'd think. DD is a happy and healthy 5 year old now Smile
I hope it all works out for you. Flowers

i had some bleeding at 6weeks on and off for 5days ish i'm now 15weeks so it's not always a bad sign if it's starts TMI Alert coming out line your peeing yourself and it's thick and lumpy then you need to get straight up to a&e in the meantime it sucks but sit it out and relax as much as poss! thinking of you
