37 weeks and in pain

Hi,
I'm 37 weeks pregnant and since 2am I've been awake feeling really dizzy and nauseous. Very faint and I've got cramping in my lower back.
I was wondering if anyone else has had something similar? I'm not entirely sure what to do. Hmm

Thanks!

I'm 37 weeks on Monday and have really bad back ache, feels like the baby is about to come out the top of my bum... I've just been having hot baths to relax and soothe the pain, my midwife won't check if anything is happening cervix wise until I get to 37 weeks and I have no contractions so I'm just guessing it's a symptom of late pregnancy. Hope you're feeling better x

I'd give your midwife a ring.

When was the last time you had your urine dip checked?

How are you feeling now?

I saw my midwife and everything is fine apparently. She thinks it's just everything getting kick started and she's told me to up my iron supplement just incase it's low whilst she waits for my bloods to come back.
Thanks for your replies Smile

Cramps/dizziness in late pregnancy are often exacerbated by iron levels dipping slightly, dehydration or your blood pressure being a little low.

Make sure you're well hydrated, eating little and often and trying to maintain a consistent core temperature with regular light exercise (walking is fine, I don't mean a gym session!).

I'm glad you were checked over.
