They seem to vary vastly in design and price.

How on earth do you turn over with this one?

I have the long one from bumpto3 - it's alright, full of tiny beans

i got on well with the small square wedge one you get in mothercare for about £10 for my bump. otherwise wrapping my legs around duvet made me really comfy.

(when i say 'really comfy' it's all relative you understand )

I think the big 'pregnancy' pillows are a bit of a gimmick really. Agree if you want a long bulky pillow you could roll up a single duvet. I used 2 normal pillows: one under my bump and one between my knees and they worked just as well (and I had SPD so was in pain most nights - the pillows really helped)

It's for spd moomin. I am using one between my knees atm. Not got a bump yet

I had it much less seriously in pregnancy no.2 because I went to an osteopath regularly as soon as I recognised the signs. Are you seeing anyone to help with it?

Yes I have it, has really helped as I don't need to turn over as much (and therefore wake up to turn). I don't move the pillow, just pull the long bit between my knees from behind when facing the other way. Got mine at 30w. HTH

My Mum bought me a long body pillow form Lidl supermarket for about £8 - does the job and is a lot cheaper than specialist maternity ones!

She bought one for herself but she's not pregnant at the age of 62!! I'm not sure I'd spend the money on the more expensive ones.

OK, this is my 4th pregnancy and at last I've found a pillow that is supercomfy -and as I have SPD that's a challenge. It's on the pricey side but worth EVERY penny. Also, I know it'll be great for breastfeeding and in the future for just sittung up comfortably in bed. It just moulds to your body. It's v. long and at night it is easy to turn over and just take the top part with you. I got it from Mamtoto and it was £39.95 - I would usu. baulk at spending that on a pillow but do. It's great and i regret not buying one in a prev. pg.
