Anyone else fed up and 38 weeks pregnant?

Hi All,

Anyone else totally fed up of being pregnant? I feel like I have no prelabour symptoms and am going to be pregnant FOREVER! In addition, I've been told that the baby is MASSIVE (from 2 ultrasounds) and this makes me more scared about going overdue. They don't induce due to size in my area.

Any other people wanting to join my moaning myrtle thread ?!

I'm due 3rd Feb :-)

Yes!! Due 2nd Feb with dc2. Ds was c sec due to breech and 9lb 1. I was 11lb 4......

I can't be induced due to previous c sec, won't let me have water birth. Or epidural.

I feel.huge, and like I'm carrying a bowling ball inside my stomach muscles. I have all manner of unpleasant side effects of pregnancy.

Moan away!

Yes due 3rd Feb here too! Been having back pain forever but no signs of labour soon. If I don't go myself I have a section booked for next Friday but hoping I go before that!!

Hi Both! Fellow moaners yay!

Sorry you are struggling Nottalota - I can't imagine having a toddler already and feeling like this. Kudos to all you mums with other kids around !

Cinderella, yay we are due on same day! What's the reason for the c section next Friday ? I find myself googling prelabour symptoms the whole time and just feeling disheartened that I don't feel I have any of them!

It's soooooo much harder this time! Ds is not quite 18 months. Gets up very early. Yawn.

I'm likely to have c section on due date if nothing starts.

Me 🙋🏼

Due 31st Jan. Feeling miserable as sin!

I've been laid up on the sofa all day & most of yesterday. My back hurts, the bottom of my bump hurts. I've got awful fanny daggers and occasional period pain type cramps. I think I might have lost some of my mucous plug last night although I'm not sure as it was clear rather than pink or bloody. Nothing even close to resembling a contraction though, not even any braxton hicks!

Just wish I knew what was happening! Is this pre labour? Is my body just playing cruel tricks on me? 😩😭

I'm due on the 6th. Got a 18mo as well and still at work.. But that's kind of a nice rest!

I'm doing OK at the moment but setting myself up for baby being late.. My DD went 11 days over..

This bit just drags on forever though doesn't it! Really not going to miss being preggo!

This will be my second week off. I took a weeks leave and started mat leave this week. Yes buck you are right, it's actually easier being at work where I get to sit at a desk, rather than at home where I chase after ds all day.

I think.i found it easier last time because I didn't have ds to look after and could sleep and rest whenever I felt like it, and I had a planned c section so by this stage knew when it would end. I also started out fitter, and have certainly not recovered that fitness before getting preggers again. Oh and I'm old.......

Cant quite believe I'll have another soon......

I'm 38 weeks at the weekend. My hip hurts, my back hurts, I'm averaging two hours sleep a night (the next person who tells me this is my body getting me used to night feeding is getting a smack), am joining Birdlet with the fanny daggers, and I've had no signs that Baby wants to put in an appearance. sigh

40+4 today with a fair few false starts under my belt now Hmm

Also been averaging 2-3 hours sleep a night except last night when I have miraculously slept for about 6.

Feel amazing today. May run a marathon or something later.

Now 41+2, was 41+5 when my waters broke last time. I think this is unusual though to all those fed up 38 weekers!

Not quite with you guys, only 37 weeks and due 10th of Feb. Had totally hassle free first pregnancy then totally crap birth ( failed inducuction at 40+13 = C Section and total of 4 days in hospital...) This time have had bad SPD and horrible sciatic pain/ leg cramps since about 7 months and have only just got some sort of lung capacity back in last 3 days. Been having what I think are braxton hicks for week and half but baby hadn't turned!! Got a scan this afternoon to see if she has and if so am going to start on the raspberry leaf tea to see if that helps speed her up!

39+4 with number 5, tried everything to get him going but I think he'll be like 3 of my previous and go spontaneously on due date 🙄

37+1 and truly done! DC1 was 2 weeks overdue, preparing myself for the long haul. Feeling completely drained and suffering with SPD so want to kill partner every time he mentions being tired.

Stay strong ladies! Star
