My sister is pregnant and I can't tell anyone. I've even managed to not tell my DH and best friend even though they asked me how she is doing after a recent meet up! She had a miscarriage 3 yrs ago and has been trying since. They were told it was highly highly unlikely she'd get pregnant without help. But she's only 4 weeks and refusing to even talk about things 2 weeks from now which is understandable. I'm more nervous for her of something going wrong than I was in any of my pregnancies. I just hope so much there is no problem. Anyway, I just wanted to put this news somewhere that wouldn't be breaking her confidence but leaves a record of this baby and the wonderful news, regardless of what happens. Your prayers would be appreciated. It's going to be a long 8 months.

Pregnancy after a miscarriage is so, so hard. When I fell pregnant after losing my baby I didn't want to talk about it at all. There was no joy in being pregnant at all. The first 12 weeks were particularly hard. If you can temper your excitement in front of your sister and be led by her you will really help. Don't tell her everything will be fine. Instead, tell her that 'today she is pregnant' and that she needs to focus on that. I really hope it goes smoothly for your sister and the next 8 months go quickly for you x
