Past couple of weeks I've been feeling(more) weird(than usual). On/off ache low down on one side, which goes around to my side and more recently, lower back. I last took a test about a week ago as I suspected a potential bun brewing... negative.
Today, my pathetic boobs(bf killed them!) seem ever so slightly less pathetic! Not sore or tender though. getting a slight 'discharge' from them when squeezed as I stopped feeding in June-they've done this since though so not too worried about that.
Now, the obvious thing to do is POAS(which I promise to do asap) but I'm genuinely frightened of it being +ve...
we have a rocky rship, already have 3 children, youngest is 2. I suffer from terrible anxiety since the death of my father and I'm not really coping too well lately. Also, all 3 of our kids have been born prematurely with terrible pregnancies(heavy bleeds throughout), PPROM with DS1(23wks, born at 29wks) and DS2(29wks,born 30wks). We have been extremely lucky as they are all fine!! I don't if we'd be as lucky with another baby, who'd inevitably be born early-maybe earlier. Doesn't bear thinking about!
I'm 36 too so time is against me. I know I'd be 'forced' to terminate if I was, as it could potentially have a very dramatic effect on our relationship and our family.
If youve read all this, thanks and well done! Any advice would be very welcome(besides POAS 😂

Don't want to read and run. Don't panic, if you are you are and you can decide what to do once there is a decision to be made x

Well is your period late? Tbh the pain could be anything, sounds like a possible UTI/kidney infection to me.

I've been to the GP twice this week. Tested urine for infection and it was ok. Didn't check for HCG though!

I don't know if I could ever come to terms with having a termination. I'm pro choice, for the right reasons, but I really think I'd struggle with it afterwards...

I think you need to POAS as soon as you can. Hope you get the result you want. And, genuinely meaning this in the nicest possible way, I also think you should consider asking your GP about sterilisation. I knew not long after my second child was born that I didn't want to have any more children, and neither did my husband. I had my tubes tied at 40 and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. No more worry on that score at all.

Best of luck. Thanks

I sympathise with your anxiety, I really do, but you are making it a thousand times worse by not testing.

I know... I've got the 2 youngest at home today and OH is at work until later so don't fancy braving home bargains today!
Funnily enough, I was chatting to my auntie last night and she was sterilised in her 30s. She said it was the best thing she did.

Just had a quick read and I'm glad you've got the result you wanted! Maybe book a gp app to discuss your options for the future so these little scares are less likely to happen? Hope all works out with you and your partner and you come through your rocky patch x

Thanks so much. I'm on the pill and have never had an accident whilst taking it. So I'd have been very surprised if it had failed me...!x
