Bra back size

I know I can expect my boobs to get bigger once the milk arrives, but will my back size go back to its usual? I'm still in my pre-pregnancy bras at 35 weeks but with back extenders and at the largest setting. Cup size is fine, it's my back that's massive! I've no idea what back size I've gone up to, or what size nursing bras to be looking at. Should I just wait until the baby's here?

My back size went up over 4inches (had very little bump, baby was right up under my ribs) but my cup size never changed, so I just used an extender. I got measured when he was 4 weeks old and was back to my normal size of 34dd. I never got on well with nursing bras, just continued wearing my maternity bras when I got sick of the little clips!

I was a 30D pre pregnancy, 34D at the end of pregnancy and a 34F when my milk came in, settled down to a 34E, then when I stopped breastfeeding at 8 months I went down to a 32C sob I doubt I'll ever be a 30 back again as my ribs seem bigger.

Thanks for the insight Smile I don't even have maternity bras - I've been happy to avoid the whole bra buying malarkey! - and think I'll hold off until the baby and milk have both arrived so I know what I'm dealing with!

The nursing sleep bras are handy until your milk settles. They tend to be small, medium, large. Then you can get properly fitted. Try the boob or bust calculator online for an idea before you shop.

I did try those, but the medium was too small and the large was too big so I gave up. I may re-investigate though - thank you.

I just bought non wired maternity bras because my usual wired ones started to dig into my ribs. I bought some nursing bras in Primark/Penneys in my usual size and they were fine for the first few weeks, my size never went up when my milk came in, they just became a suuuuper full DD.

I'm not sure Primark will have my size but with have a look - thank you. Hopefully my cup size won't go up either, and my back size will go down... fingers crossed!
